Few bug fixes today that were raised with me last week :
Some T2 stuff requring a T1 item were out by some large margins. turned out to be how wastage was (or was not in this case) being applied if material requirements appeared in both ramTypeRequirements and invTypeMaterial tables causing a doubling effect (gas cloud harvesters being one of them). System now properly assumes ME 0 values when items appear in projects and will report for those values accordingly and adjust ME requirements as you assign industry jobs.
Material reports : saved report and preview report didn't tally. They do now and will save your custom refined level. for the moment, prices are based on maximum buy orders. Accept button now visible on projects for material reports if you have the project manager role. New Feature : Material Buying Program
One of the toys I'd not been able to release to you was the ability to buy materials from your corporate groups. This was because the way it was handled previously for my old corp was dated and needed me to strip down and rewrite. I was hoping to get it done before the expansion to tie in with the drone region nerf but hey, better late than never.
What is the MBP?
The ability to buy materials from your corp setting a default refine and tax rate. Built on the methods of the material reports, it works out the value of any ore and ice based on the refined value. Minerals, PI and other objects are priced at item value. The Corporate group admin console now has options where you can set a default refine level and a default material tax. The refine tax only effects items that need to be reprocessed, the material tax effects the gross value of the refined items. This is so that those of you who have excellent standings with NPC can set the refine to 0% and the others in deep null with ruthless overlords taking 10%+ can set the level playing field so corp can still get it's cut from the leftovers. the material tax is what the corp keeps to help pay for all your overheads.
Material reports created for corp projects will automatically assign reports to MBP while personal will still be personal.
The MBP reports automatically link into the contracts API. To get the most out of the system get your minions to do the following :
- Haul their junk to station of choice
- Create an MBP report
- Copy the Net MBP value of the report
- Create a contract to your corporation with the exact figure in the "I will recieve" bit of the report and the exact amounts of items
- submit the contract
On the next API cycle, the contract number should appear in the Outstanding section if :
- values match
- contract issuerID matches one of the toons in the contractees account
- All the items in the contract match those in the report
if you see a contract number in that list, you'll pretty much know that you're good to go. Still check it out just to be sure. Contract details will appear to the right of MBP reports. If you're viewing the page in eve, click the contract number to get it to pop up
Other features include :
You can now select which one of your toons to log the report against. Rerport list now shows corporation toon is in and type of report. If you have alts in multiple corps and 2 or more of them have created a corporate group account then you can select which group to assign your MBP to.

The problem is with eve-central. None of the API stuff is working atm so soon as they fix it their end prices will return. If prices are older than an hour then the site should automatically update.

Todays update : Asset implimentation :
In material reports, choose your method of creation.
- The normal vanilla type it add it submit it
- Assets. Displays a list of stations, Select the station and the item you want. Clicking on parent containers/ships will also select all sub items including items in containers in the ships
- Fleet log uploads has it's own little section and not just a sorry addition at the bottom.
Corporation asset collection now added. If you have selected to allow Assets on your key, an update button will appear. click this to update the corporate asset list. Click the corp to view
Vioulla , corporation assets.
Word of note, while it displays the contents of the corporate hangars at the POSes, it doesn't say which moons they are at or which POS tower they're attached to. This information is not available from the API. So yours truely is currently at the drawing board with lots of flow charts and psudo code to give you a linckage/notes system to attatch to your assets for better control.
all right, and I'll rewite in that POS management section which some of you have asked me about.

Still interested to know if I've selected the right API information. Most of the functionality is there, and I seem to have figured out how to ad a corp group.
One question for anyone reading though.
My corp industry jobs are not being pulled, although the corp Industry Jobs is selected in the CAK.

The corp APIs are updated via a cron job that runs every 10 minutes. But it's done in a way that only 4 corps are updated per cycle. This is so that API updates don't flood CCPs gateway or the web server. You should find that the corp API will be updated within an hour of registration. I will be adding a mechanic so that new corporation groups are updated imediately upon registration.
To answer your other question, the registration and update sections in character management have predefined links so you can select the full suit of API options. When you submit the CAK, it should confirm to you which options have been selected. Personal APIs should be updated within 5 mintes of you logging onto the site or you can manually start the process by clicking on the option in Character Manage. I noticed when trying to do the corp group from the link it had all characters selected which doesn't allow for corp. Don't know if that was my browser or something, but... I'm not entirely sure what should have been selected. |

That's a CCP thing. Tickets have been rasied with ccp about it so it's when their webby people can do something about it, if anything.....
On one of the next updates I'll add the options that the site currently uses.
What you enable depends on how you want to use the site. Some people just want minimal access so they can still manage projects but with no API interaction at all, others want the full monty so they can track industry jobs in real time, financials, payouts etc.
For the full suite on corp and personal, select
Wallet transactions, journal and contracts Industry jobs Assets

More asset stuff :
In a project -> assigned Resources tab, you now have 2 choices to manually add resources to projects
The traditional manual enter name. quantity. value Or if you can add it from the assets.
Please note though due to the constantly changing nature of the itemIDs on the asset API, it is next to impossible to track if an item has been used previously. So use with caution.
Also, note that if Projects are personal, you can only add items from your personal API (so only from stations) and corporate projects can only pick up items from the corporate API (station office hangars/POS assembly arrays etc). The asset method can only track quantities, attempting to also add financial would produce too much margin of error. To track financially, add market transactions directly to the project. Tweaked CAK entry form. A table will display what keys are used by the site and what keys you have enabled.
An edit link now takes you directly to the eve API page if editing/updating your key.

Another feature added. POS management.
Ties in with your corporate assets so you can help to properly manage your junk.
As it stands right now, when the asset list updates, you have a lot of POS structures but no idea what links to what. The POS management lets you :
- Click on structure names to rename them
- Click on tower row to go to configuration page
- Drag drop structures from unasigned area on right to assigned area on left
- Structures with items in hangars will have a grey + icon next to them. Click on the grey icon to see inventory
- Inventory items sorted by corporate hangar
- Tower inventory shows units and also how much storage is used. Nice green bar for how much space is left in capacity
- Towers will now show up in inventory as being on the moon they're planted
- Assigned structures will show up in inventory on the moon of the tower you assigned them too
- Reduce the amount of structures you need to scroll through by clicking on a group search icon to only show that group type
- Back to top button added on all pages of site.
There are still some features I need to add to the POS management. Namely:
- If your tower is low, the ability to quickly create a project to create the required amount of fuel blocks of the correct racial type for the tower,
- CPU/Powergrid usage for assigned structures as well as ability to flag them on or offline
- For moon miners, ability to set type of moon being mined or reaction type (this will be part of a bigger update to do with managing moon goo reaction chains)

First off, this is a boon for any corp tat takes building things seriously! Just getting started, but I'm running into two issues.
1) I recieve a fatal error when doing a material report and I click any of the radio buttons. (Fatal error: Class 'database' not found in /var/www/industry/api/class.api.php on line 20)
2) I can highlight and hover over the numbers in the Admin Console for Material Purchase Tax and Default Refine, but I cannot change them. Clicking does nothing. This has been tested in Chrome, IE, and Firefox.

I believe I have followed these to the letter, but the contract never pulls. I am submitting the contract to the corp with the same character that initiated the project, and having the CEO accept them. Could this be an issue? Citatic Inc is recruiting! See http://citatic.com/forum for details. |

Database has been updated to the inferno dataset. Now you can start planning on all those new models.

Having trouble actually signing up.
Click register, enter my details (used both full and basic API as well as two different email addresses), my character's portrait comes up and I click him then nothing.
I'm taken back to the home screen.

Is the CAK you're using an All Character? The CAK is limited to a single character to help tighten security and protect your data.

On the API creation page on the left are a bunch of drop down lists. One of them labled Character by default is set to All Characters
