It's a non-scientifically proven but nevertheless obvious in an undefined way that SOME people are born just too sober to be of benefit to anyone and in some cases a danger to themselves and society.
These people require at least two pints JUST to be considered the same as everyone else. I personally have better days after a few pints and five hours sleep rather than none at all and a seven or eight hour sleep.
There may be more parameters influencing my "good day" mood, but those were the main points.

Quite a few, I'd imagine. The people going to Fanfest either go for the beer, or because they care. And people who care usually spam forums :D
(At least I do, although I saw very little of Oveur this year :()
