Dishonored 1v1 - but a lot of fun

H Lecter Gallente The Black Rabbits The Gurlstas Associates	Posted - 2008.12.07 14:24:00 - [1] So there I was, roaming around in my trusty little Ishkur assault frigate in Placid when I spotted an Enyo on my scanner in Kenninck. Nice I thought - nobody else in system, and a reasonable opponent, so I offered a 1v1 in local chat. The pilot, lunnatic from Solarflare Heavy Industries accepted and invited me to a nearby moon. As i don't like to fight at a POS I changed the venue of our little encounter to an asteroid belt and we met there. While we were fighting and the Enyo turned out to be quite a soft target another local shows up, ID ReDead from the same corp. I ask if that was an incident and while lunnatic assured me that his buddy would not come and help an Eagle burst out of warp 10 clicks from me. Of course the Eagle starts targeting me and fires missiles that hit me for laughable damage. The Enyo dies and I give all my love to his friend in the heavy assault ship. As I am a nice pirate I forget about the dishonored fight and generously offer 70M to let him go. ID ReDead stalls for time and it comes as no surprise that the Enyo pilot returns in his Brutix. This was the moment when I felt slightly annoyed, so I kill the Eagle and tackle the Brutix. The battlecruiser turns out to have quite a nice tank and while I slowly wear it down the other guy shows up in his Onyx, this time at a respectful 40k distance. The Onyx shoots me, I tank him, he shoots my drones, I pull them in and unleash their anger on the Brutix again. When the Brutix is sure to die ID ReDead decides to save his sorry ass and warps off. I recommend Solarflare Heavy Industries for your fighting pleasure. They got no honor but you'll have lots of fun. My opinion is purely personal and not related to my alliance

Me drones love playmates And rest assured if it's 1v1 even with 50 of my corpy's in system we could fight in front of them and win or lose youll pass untargeted if i dont take your pod, or you win. And I dont pod gf's A system of morality which is based on relative emotional values is a mere illusion, a thoroughly vulgar conception which has nothing sound in it and nothing true.

You can check our alliance kb on griefwatch for their names. And no, we have no reason to fake killmails. [EDIT: At least the Brutix must eat me alive with small drones but he had just hammerhead II, I did not say that I'm the greatest pvper - hell, that Ishkur died to a Ruppy 2 hours later - but I had fun and those guys dishonor 1v1 - end of story ] My opinion is purely personal and not related to my alliance

Only thing that I have ever come close to that is managing to kill a scorpion, drake, merlin, punisher and a catalyst in succession with only a Harbinger. The guys where utter duds, and the Scorp and Drake was a 2v1 and I still killed them both and didnt get jammed - the rest was a gradual progression as they tried to actually do something to me. Makes you worry when they profess to be anti-pirate and dock and hide during war decs (we decced 'em twice over a couple of months)

Anyone fighting close range with an Eagle, especially against something small and fast that would be easier to snipe, is an idiot tbh. Ishkur is a beast as long as your opponents don't have nuets. Webs alone won't slow it down enough for medium guns to hit it, so if the pilots suck as much as they seem to (no nuets, no shooting drones enough, no tank), then this story is very plausible. Damn waste of ships on those idiots. EDIT: I just looked at the KMs. The eagle was snipe fitted and warped in at 10? Noob. The Brut had dual reps and couldn't hold off an AF? Embarassing. The Enyo sadly just sucks solo cause it's missing a mid, so no surprise there.

Yeah, when I saw the Eagle pop up on my overview I already said goodbye to my little Ishkur - but then I saw he was only 10 clicks from me Still I object to your statement that they are a waste of ships - at least they fought and did not run away My opinion is purely personal and not related to my alliance
