Let me introduce you my idea, from the first look it might be difficult to imagine, but, the truth is, sometimes human beigns needs lot's of training to make their ideas, objectives come true. That's why i'm willing to help new players, and not only, to show what they are capable of
Let me ask you something, do you still remember your first meeting with "EVE-online", first expirience of destroying npc in combat or real player. Exactly it was unforgettable, but each one of us have made so many mistakes during this long way. So i want to make this "way" easyer and more understandble in EVE universe for every player
I will show you 2 of my ideas in different ways, let's start with the 1st one
1) Station training room (In the curent station you are in, or in the named station of the system that have been choosed for this training, might be 4 systems for each race, or 1 system for every race in game
You pay some amount of isk to enter "training room, combat area, which will let you choose whom your gonna fight against or combat strenght (npc, but at player's lvl) To see what your capable of. (real shipls tank, speed, damage, but still NPC t should work the same as WH's but you will not die or be scanned down (The time you have spent in the are might be limited or not The way you choose the ship your gonna fight in might be diffewrent
- 1.1 You choose your ship from your current ship's hanga -1.2 You choose your ship you can fly i -1.3 You choose your ship from the list that CCP will create. ( ranking of the list might depend on the value of isk's you have paid to enter training room
2) Systems with inspace agents
-2.1 You use the ship you have arrived in to the agen -2.2 You use your ships the same way as said in chapter 1. ( different choice's might be added
* Also it's possible to make a rank list of players who succesed these training ( against npc ships * Make it possible to enter the are in a fleet ( atleast more then 1 player
It's the main idea, but everything can be added or changed. These changes might involve more players in game and improve games economic.
Thank you

Cute, but if you are going to take the time to hit "post" you could at least take the time to tell him why his idea doesn't work.
And honestly, the second part (agent arranged highsec PvP matches) has some potential.
The in-station NPC simulation thingy? It doesn't do anything that isn't already done by the career agents for noobs, and it would be quite a bit of extra work for the programmers. |

This response says it all.
(If you're wondering why it's a bad idea, try searching for one of the numerous other similar ideas that have been posted already) |

Simulations are a bad idea because they will reduce the number of REAL fights. "Why risk my ship when I can just play the sim?"
Right now you can engage in duels with corpmates. Non corpmates, you can trade cans to get aggression. Shoot each other down to structure and then repair.
I don't see a need for dueling rooms or simulations or PVP agents. It's time to put an end to CCP's war on piracy. Fight your own battles and stop asking CCP to do it for you. |

Dueling rooms are a bad idea, as you note things need to be kept in space.
The use-case for PvP agents is to encourage noobs to take the step into PvP, by taking the fear of the unkown out of it and presenting it as just another part of the game that they will be playing.
Follow the model of the existing agents, hand noobs cheap ships and give them a small reward for blowing each other up.
It's the same basic model that a lot of player corps use, it should work just fine if you have a set of missions that handles it (and a deadspace area that only admits players in the right ships and on the mission).
The only downside I see is if someone hits the mission at a bad time and they don't have anyone around to kill them, but allowing the mission to be run multiple times would probably get around that problem. |

Not supported. Change isn't bad... but it isn't always good. Somtimes, the oldest and most simple of things can be the most elegant and effective. |

No, because its a bad idea that's come up thousands of times before and been discussed to death.

And if that's how you really feel about an idea, I have a suggestion: Don't hit post and bump it back to the top.
Let it drop off the front page, ignored and unloved.
But if you *have* to put in your 2 isk try to do a better job of it than the OP did on their post. |

This post is going to drop off the front page and get trolled to hell no matter how many bumps it gets.
As for repeating what has been said in every other practice/simulation/instanced PvP thread, no.

Just make the test server update people's skills at downtime and you'll have all the newbie training tools you'll ever need. |
