i like how their eve forum section was titled something like lEaVE online
/somethin liek that i dunno. i go to SA once a month to go through the comedy goldmines (pure win)
somewhere beneath their 'we did it for lulz' and laughing at people took the game too seriously.... they ended up becoming the same people they made fun of.

Judging by the amount of bans and probations that get dished out each day this doesn't actually work. However, there is a lot less trolling on SA than other forums I go to.

There are loads of different forum sections on SA and there's sometimes some rivalry between people who frequent those different sections. I tend to lurk between the Gaming section, GBS and TBB (The Book Barn). I've never quite understood the humour of the FYAD and BYOB goons.

I paid 10 bux to SA back in may of 2003 to get access to funny stuff on some forums, not to "buy friends" like those of us in goonfleet have been accused of. 10 dollars almost 6 years ago doesn't mean a damn thing to me now, I've seen funny things and I'm in GoonFleet. Money well spent.
