hows this for a guristas 0.0 npc set-up 
HI-2X 1400s 6X cruises
MED-2X hardners 1X L cl-5 1X L suplement (extender) 1x heavy breif injector 1X sensor booster
LOW- 1 X ballistic 1X gyro 2 3X rcu

I'm having luck with 6x siege launchers and 2x compressed coil 250mms.
4x hardeners, 1x booster, 1x shield amp/100 MN burner (flying at 160m/s to get loot cans sucks)
low slots: PDUs/damage mods/cap stuff/wcs/kegerators/whatevers
I'm REALLY liking the 4x hardeners (2 of each type of damage the rats use) nothing like having perfect shots doing under 50 damage :)

The shield extender, the gyro and the sensor booster = useless.
And you would prolly do better with another highslot layout too.

Cap injector = useless for npc hunting, you need the cargo space, and you will go through a lot if you have to rely on them during every fight.

Ravens suck at NPCing... they are missle boats. You need to use a Amarr Gallante or Minmatar battleship for NPCing. Ive seen alot of success with the dominix considering 13 heavy drones with 17 backup in your drone bay can take down NPC cruisers while fire is confused on a battlship.

Ravens suck at NPCing... they are missle boats. You need to use a Amarr Gallante or Minmatar battleship for NPCing. Ive seen alot of success with the dominix considering 13 heavy drones with 17 backup in your drone bay can take down NPC cruisers while fire is confused on a battlship.

A Raven that can't fire torpedos? Surely some mistake?
3*RCU and no cap rechargers? How long are you going to run that shield booster for? Try a shield boost amplifier. Consider an XL booster instead of the L.
How about something other than guns in those last two hi slots?

Being able to choose specific damage types, and being able to do real damage from long range, sounds like raven's are great for PvE, only disadvantage being cost and inconvenience of keeping a large missile stock. Please don't ruin my dream 
Anyway, from what i've been told by other corpies who use a raven, the cruise launchers arent too bad, at least if you fit the launcher low slot mods, so you`re left with some power/cpu for filling the other slots.

Trust me ive tried to use one against NPC and this is what happens:
The damage types even if all specific happen over a range of 30 seconds before the next set of missles even hit. Thats if lauched from 0m. If launched from 40km its more like 1 minute. Which means... that the NPC will recharge its shields and armor before youll kill it. Additionally, cruise missles are being used because you cannot fit 2 guns with 6 siege launchers. You can fit 2 guns with 6 cruise launchers. His setup is a variable of one of mine that uses 3 1400mm 4 cruise and 1 siege with torpedos. Also, since shield tanking has been nerfed by CCP a Raven either has to max his cap recharge rate with the raven via power diagnostics or he has to armor tank. Armor tanking on a raven is... pathetic. Not even worth the time.

My not quite as l33tly skilled 2nd character uses power diags, cap rechargers and 2*heavy nosfers to run a standard XL booster almost non-stop. Once you've killed the first few rats you don't need to run the booster that much, so shield tanking isn't much of a problem.

k guys so drop the cap injector and the 2 x guns swap for heavy noses and low slots cap rachragers / pdu
btw i find raven much beetter at npcing i own a temptest and mega dn they sux at npcs atm

I would tend to avoid using Missiles for NPC hunting anyway tbh.
Get an apoc or something if you want to npc hunt

My mega can solo hunt in 1mil rat spawns and surrounding 550K rat spawns. Long range rail ownage plus drones close range ownage. trackign comp some damamge mods and thorium ;] with antimatter close range.
