Ambulation, Fashion and your Avatar

Fujiko MaXjolt Caldari Templar Republic	Posted - 2008.12.12 18:11:00 - [1] I was thinking about ambulation, reading up on it, etc. And there's somewhere someone mentions that they have fashion designers designing clothes you'll be able to buy and (i expect) change into. Now, does anyone know if we'll be able to redo our Avatar pic (for in-game, i'm enough of a vet to know they'll never get it working for forums ) ? Not necessarily change the facial/physical appearance of our Avatar (not more than we're supposed to, with making them fat/skinny/etc), but pose them in their shiney new duds and do a snap - maybe even have a photo-album (which could be used for favourite ships/situations/etc) people could thumb through or "paintings" the audacious could put on the wall of their captains quarters/pub/corp hq ? Does anyone have a clue ?

The higher your level, the less chance of blurry photographs, dropping your camera on the floor, etc... Awesome. On a serious note. I, on the other hand, need to be able to show at least one hand to properly finish mine.

And this exemplifies probably the primary reason I relish CCP. While I'm getting chewed out on other fora for daring to call this, this and this 'cartoony', CCP is throwing out the most realistic avatars in the genre and taking them further. Kirra Liu Gemini Industries Inc Sylph Alliance	Posted - 2008.12.13 11:03:00 - [13] I am not looking forward to ambulation, my main is firstly a woman, so not excited about the fashion as I think I would feel too camp fussing about what skirt I am going to wear today. My industry guy is a male achura so he is an ugly mofo to say the least, no hope for him. Then theres my Amarr dude, I would be ok with him but sadly don't play on him unless I need to put down some serious hurt. I want a sex change, but thats probably not going to happen. The characters faces will have to be redone as others have said, and I would think there will be alot more options, added decorations, hair styles, more depth to the skin colour etc. The best thing about this though is the fact that we are going to see alot more people coming to eve when it hits the shops, so more variation in characters appearence makes it better ingame as we wont have 20 achuras sat at the bar all looking identical.
