Guessing this will get locked but this forum gets the most views.
So one of our POSs after the patch, decided to move over 100km from where it was anchored. All the guns and modules that were anchored outside of the POS shields stayed where they were. All the ships that were sitting inside the shields did not move either. If you warp to your bookmark you are now sitting over 100km from the tower, but all the mods are in a nice tight little circle where the tower used to be. Now the end result was several capital ships sitting unmanned in space with the tower way off. Please everyone reading this be aware and pull in your ships until CCP can figure this out. This is localized to just this one POS, however checking your remote POSs may be in order.
BTW! i would like to congratulate Huzzah for jumping right on the exploit wagon and taking advantage of this wonderful bug. I am sure the assets will be removed from you in short order. We took an amazing screen shot of it, will have to post it up somewhere, it will give you a laugh.

I do not believe i said anything about CCP. I said that the assets would be removed from them in short order. However i am sure the powers that be are more than interested in how this happened. It is fun finding a bug and helping to get it fixed.

1x POS (200 Million ISK) 2x Capital ships (2 Bill ISK) Mis configuring POS so 2 Billion ISK of assets fly out at high speeds (Priceless)
ISK cant buy stupidity, for everything else use Shade.[/quote
I think you are not understanding. The tower itelf moved, and actually is still moving slowly further and further away. But hey, i suppose reading is not your strong point.
BTW, The POS was not configured by Shade. It belongs to one of our very close friends but resides in our space. You must be on our killboard with a comment like that. =)

The POS and caps were not ours. I posted a warning so people would check there POSs. The POS was in our space but did not belong to Penumbra, or any corp that is part of Penumbra. It is visably obvious when ya warp to a pos that has a perfect circle of mods that are anchored to a tower that is 178k from it, that there is some kind of codeing bug going on.
Do i think huzzah is lame for doing it? yes. Would i have done it? No. I would have filed a stuck petition right there on the spot. Dose that mean huzzah are any different that the other 90% of the people that are on this board that would have done the same thing? No.
your guys opinion of the situation really dose not matter to me. If the end result is that everyone checks there POSs then my mission was accomplished. As for huzzah, well i guess that is between us now isnt it .

Man....
I post a warning and i get people argueing over my choice of words. Fair enough.
Quote: From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Jump to: navigation, search In the realm of online games, an exploit is usually a software bug, hack or bot that contributes to the user's prosperity in a manner not intended by the developers.
What is or is not considered an exploit varies between games and developers. The EULA (End-User License Agreement) typically states what type of gameplay is not acceptable. Thus, some developers may consider AFK gameplay to be an exploit, while others may not.
So yes, Gaining due to a bug or flaw not intended by the developers. I could have sworn i used the correct word.
Sorry i had to name who did it. Its really not that big a deal i suppose but everyone would have asked anyhow. Thats why i congratulated you.

We took the screen shot after the fact, of the tower sitting way off. For the petition of course. We had no idea. Like i have said, it was not a shade POS, it is simply in our system. We usally dont run around every night and check every POS we have eve wide directly after DT. Especially not other peoples POSs. You must admit. It dose look funny.
