When the LP store was first put online the pirate mission runners were promised that we would have our stores tweaked at some point in the future to better reflect the difficulty of running missions in the constant warzone that is 0.0. So far this has not come to pass. In return for running missions in chaos space pirate agents offer little more than the faction ships as difference between their empire counterparts.
It's about time that a bone was thrown to the pirate mission runners, though. This is a request for CCP to implement the higher tier pirate faction ammo into the LP stores. It would be nice to finally have Domination, True Sansha, Dread Guristas, Dark Blood and shadow Serpentis ammo seeded into the LP range at a reasonable price so that, finally, there can be something unique which makes running agents in 0.0 worth that little bit more.
All those in favour, say aye. |

LP is a marked. So prices on stuff just exactly the same that ppl make them. How you wanna solve it? Reducing LP amount for pirate stuff? The prices for the stuff simply fall equaly...

You don't understand what I am asking for. The best non-tech 2 ammo in the game is currently only available as random drops from pirate officer spawns. I am asking for it to be seeded onto the LP stores for pirate agents as well.

read the OP again. this has nothing to do with LP inflation and everything to do with increasing the range and choice of products available in the store which, incidentally, i fully support

Agree with one condition. All faction ammo in the LP store should cost tags too.
incidentally, doesnt the pirate LP store offer arch angel, sansha, gurista ... etc ammo?
if so... why add the OFFICER version of the ammo? . |

Check the stats - this ammo is worse then empire faction ammo, and missionrunning for pirates is harder. And there is no such thing as officer ammo, there are just two kinds of pirate ammo(both of them drop off faction spawns)

And the pirate do not offer faction modules in the LP store so the ammo would be a welcome addition instead. |

Edited by: Tasko Pal on 26/12/2008 12:05:37 Wait, so the store already offers faction ammo? Doesn't sound interesting to have it offer officer ammo too especially since the latter is the best t1 ammo in the game. Pirate faction is supposed to be harder.

Considering how often "improve non-empire pve" is being demanded I think of this as one of the best ideas recently posted.
Few run pirate missions, it should be well rewarded pirate-side.

Pirate LP stores offer synth drug BPCs too. I know they aren't as sexy as they should be, but the price is pretty good for what you get.

This Add modules and ammo too. Risk vs Profit why would only empire mission runners get the mods?

this needs to happen for in 0.0 you are doomed to use nothing but junk or stuff you transport you cant seem to earn anything people regularly use.
0.0 agents need to be just as fruitful as empire agents with loyalty prizes. faction wepons faction e-war mods faction ammo
just cant have the items be the same as it would be if you killed a unique pirate.
just add more moduals like: angel cartel 1200mm atillery angel cartel webber
same bonuses you get in empire just nothing like deep space faction mods or officer mods. for those are rare so should be found from unique sorces.

Originally by: Tasko Pal Added: You know, I really don't see anything game breaking about getting superduper ammo. It couldn't hurt.
More to the point, it's not really adding it to the game, either, seeing as the ammo already drops from faction spawns anyway. It merely makes it a little more accessible for the agent runners.

Current faction ammo:
Pirate LP store: +10% (Arch-Angel, Shadow, Sansha, ...) Empire Navy LP store: +15% (Caldari Navy, Republic Fleet, ...) Pirate Commander/Officer drop: +20% (Domination, Guardian, True Sansha, ...)
I always thought of this as akward, therefor I'd like two changes:
(a) rename "Guardian ..." to "Shadow Serpentis ..." and "Shadow ..." to "Serpentis ..."
The 'Guardian' naming of the top Serpentis ammo is a nifty RP-thing as the militant wing of Serpentis are actually Guardian Angels. But, above everything else, it confuses people because nearly noone gets it.
(b) change the empire lp ammo from +15% to +10%. change the pirate lp ammo from 10% to 15%. keep the +20% version as loot drop only. Pirate XL ammo may stay at +10%.
Other than that, pirate missions still have no level 5s and the LP stores have nearly nothing that wasn't available before the LP store introduction. Other than the normal attribute and hardwiring implants, they have: - pirate ships - pirate ship bpcs (that also drop) - pirate implants (that also drop) - pirate ammo (that is worse than empire ammo) - synth booster bpcs (100 lp per 1000 runs or so)
Devs stated they wanted to keep pirate mods etc drop loot only to keep it exclusive. -> why are there empire versions with the exact same stats available?
I'd still favor the introduction of pirate rig BPCs. Low Grade pirate rig (T1): -> +10% parts -> higher production skills (Starship Engineering 3/4 and Rigging 3/4) -> same bonus as T1 -> same calibration as T1 -> only 5% drawback (so, 0% at skill level 5) -> installation needs Rigging 4
High Grade pirate rig (T2): -> +10% parts -> higher production skills (Starship Engineering 4/5 and Rigging 4/5) -> same bonus as T2 -> 8% drawback (so, 3% at skill level 5) -> same calibration as T1 -> installation needs Rigging 5

While I agree that more pirate ammo is implemented, I don't think Executive Outcomes have a "constant warzone" back in their space behind the great Barrier of BoB(tm)

I don't think there are agents in player sovereign regions. But oh yea, if he's running angel agents or something in Period Basis, he is really taking his chances.
