played the betas from 4 onward, then a couple months of retail
deleted my account because of rl problems and came back about 3 1/2 months ago, still tons of fun
ahh, armageddon day, 3 chars, all with max skills and a billion isk...  battleships to burn

Armageddon day was sweet, it was so laggy trying to join it, actually got in an the funny thing was you were given 500mil well I bought tons of items an my alt had another 500mil more w00t!
Managed to find a fleet of people an we killed tons in empire space along with concord.

I put Tachyons on a Megathron on Armaggedon day. Why, I dont know! Then I died because the guy just redocked for full health

Lost my raven in armagedon against a thorax due to some uber guns bug in the thorax (+1000 dmg each shot) 
Still miss my buddies in beta. Joan Darc and Phoenix and beeing killed by Spectral Armada.

I made it into the last pahse of Beta and was hooked from then. Couldnt stop myself from playing until they pulled the plug and made you pay for it!
Took a few months off after that and came back before xmas last year.
i still remember fighting on armageddon day and then trying to head all the way to New Eden just before the servers closed. Then i hoped onto the dev server and completed the journey 
the old closing page isstill up for those that want to get all misty about the good ol' times  Gemini Page
