Hi EVE recruiters,
Call me Trent. I dont always play eve, but when I do, I mine in a battleship.
I am looking for an established corp (>6mo, >15 active, US and EU TZ) that I can provide both industrial and military support, while keeping real life a priority. I would like a corp with a material buying program (ore/minerals, PI, ice), low tax rate, as well as a POS to feed PI. During weekends I'd like to go on incursions and PVP roams with the corp. I need a corp with a friendly and professional atmosphere that puts its members their real life first. With that said, I am an engineering student with a lot of HW so my EVE hours are inconsistent.
My skills:
~14.9M sp
"Jack of all trades" (Mining, Manufacturing, PVE/PVP)
Skills in most ship races including:
Battleships(Gallente, Ammar, Minmatar)
Stealth Bombers (Ammar)
Logistics (Minmatar)
Hulk (in <5 days)
T2 fittings/tank (no T2 guns, yet)

I prefer not to be part of a *new corp* that need an Industrial Director. I've had many offers while on the recruitment channel in-game. I need to be a semi-afk miner for a year while in school, not a director. I'd also like to eventually run a POS, but like to learn how to.
I'd also like training in PVP from the potential corp on the weekends when not incursioning. Also training for logistics and stealth bombers would be needed, I have the eve skill for it but no experience in those roles.
If your corp is primarily a PVP corp, I am not your guy. I'm a carebare with teeth, not a pirate. (I'm not one that "Gets up in the morning, death, death, death, death, death, death, death GÇô lunch GÇô death, death, death GÇô afternoon tea GÇô death, death, death GÇô quick shower GǪ").

Ok short and sweet.
Hello good sir, may I intrest you in Lost Society. Jack of all trade, well that is most of our corp. Our cop is new, but we have mates from noobs to 2+ year pilots. We always tell our pilots that RL come first, wether its schooling or family. Lets face it, this is a game we play, so lets play when we can, and have fun. Thank you to all of you who have responded! It will take me a while to decide where to go since I have so many corps to choose from.
Just a few things to mention about the communication I've had so far:
I am not looking for a null based or PVP only corp, as I don't have the time to dedicate to watching the intel channels and local and I still want mostly hassle free access to hisec. Its not that I'm not afraid of null, I've been there before a couple corps ago and learned alot. Its probably one of my best EVE expiriences But it requires so much time and dedication to fly safe, not to mention CTA/home defence. If that was the case I would have stayed in my previous corp who joined IRC. For the past 3 months I only logged on to check skills and I was still in the same station before the corp made the move.
All the fancy ships that I have the eve skills to fly doesn't really mean that I have practice flying them. Which is only a matter of practice, I realize, so Id still like a corp that does some PVP and training for PVP, just not one that is ONLY PVP as the majority of my eve time will be semi-afk mining if I do log on at all that day.
On that topic, There was one convo I last night where I didn't see the convo pop up for a while as I was working on HW and not looking at the screen. And in the middle of the convo a room mate came in asking about HW. That's just to give you an idea of how RL>>EVE is to me at the moment. If I was in null or low during either time I would have been dead. No corp wants needless red on their KB do they? So Null, PVP only corps, and especially the Goonswarm and its feeder corps, I'm not the guy you are looking for. So if you don't mind an intermittent player, all the better.

well i have to say HK is def what your looking for. Alot of our members are the same as you and we all carebear in highsec aswell as have an office in 0.0 for which we pvp. Give me a shout if your interested |

Thank you to all that responded. I decided to go to the RVB alliances to learn how to PVP. When I am satisfied, I will once again look for a new place. Consider this thread closed.
