This summit thing is relatively unknown. As far as I know, only Pilots are able to access it. Thus, the damage wouldn't be that great.
By the way, I don't think that what Mr Takamatsu is doing is terribly smart, advertising this so openly. And he is pretty incompetent, sending people through Obe

Well it seems like the "best pilot in this sector" has had to expunge the loss of honour in the highest possible way by commiting Seppuku. I can only hope that his secon-in-command or the next Convoy leader posted to the station has better judgement so he does have not have to have something like this done to hi.... err... do this to himself.

Im glad silver night mentioned the fact we were all heading for a free podding courtesy of Masaki Takamatsu and the error in his ways telling a fleet to attck knowing it would lead to thier doom. Who are the real pirates here players such as Viceroy or is it the misleading Masaki Takamatsu, lets look at what we got .. The fleets who realised early on it was either them or us (p3en-e isnt place people go to share cAKe now is it) or Masaki Takamatsu who planned to lead a fleet of players into a system knowingly we would all get podded and then tricking the fleet members to get them to attack which would lead them to all get owned ... i know where my money is anyways happy hunting

Originally by: Discorporation Well, consider it like this:
You are a CEO of a company, and you've hired a personnel manager, who you believe competent. That manager, however, hires someone, who comits an act that would most likely mean the end of your corporation.
Now, you can blame the personnel manager for that, but his incompetence will reflect badly on you. Since you already failed to head a corporation once, people will be less inclined to accept you in a management position, leading to a lesser income, lesser status and all-round troubles for you.
Posed with the dilemma of honour versus continued CEO-ness (and thus much more income and status), I believe that any Caldari would giggle a little at the silly notion of honour, and blame it square on someone else.
If you gets away with it, then good on him. If not, well, you tried
seems as there was another alternative

He should have chosen exile instead. I'm sure it was offered to him.
Or maybe he did, and this is just a convenient cover up.

Right...I'm not supposed to talk about this. An uncareful tounge can get you exiled, you know. ------------------------------------------- "My main griveance with the Caldari state was that once I had finished my work for them, they wanted me dead."

Viceroy is certainly the pirate. Mr. Takamatsu is just very unwise, or had some other motive for the slaughter of the escorts that would have taken place. Thanks for not podding me after I attacked you by the way Un1cron. ------------------ Silver Night Director - Production and Science (\_/)This is Bunny. Originally by: Masaki Takamatsu Silver night, the bearing of your æquestionableÆ level of competency in regards to the carrying out of your duties is of little bearing to the Takamatsu Trading Exchange. I have heard of this æmysteriousÆ initiation of fire from the local sentry guns, a matter I believe is more likely to be down to questionable actions on your part.
Now hold on just one second here Mr Taka. A few plain facts for you from Silver's Wingman...
1. "Attack" you convoy guys stated, and attack he did, in good faith. The reason he got pummled by the SGs was due to the fact that YOUR convoy did NOT join the gang, and therefore did NOT enjoy the flagging status (also I expect your pilot were outside the CCP flagging scope) and Silver lost his ship.
2. AFTER the event was over, Viceroy announced that a 'certain' amount of Mega had been recovered, and was willing to share it amongst all pilots attending. It was agreed amonst ALL pilots, that Silver should receive the share from all of us to pay towards a new ship.
I see no reason to scrutinise Silvers ethics invlolving this issue, and will have strong words with anyone who states otherwise. If Taka had sorted their pilots out in the first place, and the Gang had been vetted properly (I openly asked Viceroy if he was gonna play nice, and he said no) then (if we were not destined for P3EN = Doomed) we may have stood a chance.
Look at your own shortcomings before posting such drivvle in future.
