Caldorous, I suggest you forget about a Dominix, really. The high potential of drone control is only a facade. You'll find it is utterly impossible to make good fittings on it. I am a bit biased, though, as I am deeply addicted to Interceptors. So will I recommend the Taranis to you? No. Do not get the Taranis until CCP has fixed the output of T2 construction components (which is all too low). Instead continue saving until you have 140 million (or the equivalent in minerals), at which point you should buy a Megathron. (It's only at most 10 more hours training time) Always insure 100%! Dominix is good if you only plan on doing agent missions, though. -- If TC causes you discomfort that you feel is unwarranted or may be outside TC's current contract - contact me, please.

Personnaly I think the interceptor might be the way to go, cause battleships can go down quick in the wrong situation and it costs a lot more than the interceptor, also i imagine you already have the small hybrid and with an interceptor you won't have to waste your time on the large gun skill. Your point about not having huge skill points on gunnery seems to back up my reasoning. But please know I've never flown an interceptor.
