I dont normally give my setups out but here.
High: 6 Tachs with UV crystals 2 quad modulated with multi Freq
Med: 2 prototype sensor boosters 2 T2 Tracking computers
Low: 2 T2 Heat Sinks 4 T2 Tracking enhancers 1 Cap relay
I know what you are thinking and yes there are a total of 6 tracking boosters there. This setup requires that you have BMs in the system and you need to be very careful about rats spawning near you. This setup gives me an optimal range of 107km and does considerable damage. The 2 quads kill frigs very efficiently that get close and have really nice tracking due to all the tracking mods. I can easily solo a 3 BS spawn with this setup

Its a good thing you know that this setup sucks. I was almost fooled by easily killing rats with virtually no danger to myself. If you kill the rats at ranges from 130-110km they usually never even hit you at all. Usually I clear out all the frigs first thing so I can warp away if something goes wrong. Beyond 100km it doesnt really matter when they are doing how fast and in what direction because the tracking is low enough that you can kill any frig in 1 to 2 volleys. I have only had to use the quads once ever and have been hunting with this or a similar setup for several months.

You do make a good point and yes this is a highly specialized setup. The way I deal with rats spawning on me is I stay lined up with a warp point and move at about 1/2 speed at all times. The one time I was unprepared the quads killed the warp jamming frigs and I warped away. I prefer keeping my distance because I tend to fight serpentis rats. Almost all of them have blasters and can shred even a tanked ship suprizingly quickly. I have seen several ppl loose their ships in this manner.
