so i was in a fleet flying ceptor scrammed target and set orbit at 22km. and 2 times the battle disappeared. i had to warp to gate and warp back. missed out on 2 bs and one carrier kill. is this bug being looked at? i had to warp back and set orbit at 15km within web range .and i was not to happy in battle one sec and no one in range the next weird

no idea all i know is one person was in sys baiting we waited at gate next sys jumped into gate and warped to bait set orbit and disappeared if u could tell me what the end of grip is so. i can look for it next time would help

I had something odd this morning. I activated a mission gate but when I arrived there was nothing there and the gate was still showing on the overview at 10,000m.
Eventually I Ctrl-Qd out and when I came back I had shield damage and was apparently warping at a few hundred m/s.
I went through two more such warps until I regained control and could warp back.

OP was on the edge of a grid it sounds like (shame you can't really tell where the boundaries are, unless you happen to be at a POS)
Guy two posts up was just lagged - same thing happens to me if my satellite internet is being stupid.

as people have said above sounds very much like you were orbiting off the grid. some of the boundaries are remarkably close to gates, within a 100 or so kilometres in some cases.
