My decision to go to Jericho was purely a role playing one. I needed a change and a drastic one. This scenario is part of my ongoing saga of the Forsaken Emperor and a nice twist to the plot. To all parties involved please understand that the following is all IC. I know some of you would really like to pod me and I understand, I considered this before making the decision to join Jericho and it was not an easy thing to do, but I strive for uniqueness, so my decision has been made.
A few things that will remain consistent with Jhered are his honesty, plurality and character. I have lied to know one nor cheated, stolen or abused anyone. Nor have I considered that my characters change in destiny should have any effect on the friendships that I have made in this game. If they have then you were never really my friend. This is a game and I am playing it the way I choose to. I pay the bill for this character not you! This is my definition of ôfun!ö and part of Jhereds Story.

Marichek, you have no clue as to whom you are angry with; me or the others who destroyed the Forsaken Empire. You strike at me only because you do not understand what has happened me. I sought council with you but you did not answer, so why must I answer to you now? You act as if you did not know me. Did my failure with ORCUS hurt you so badly? Did it give you amnesia and cause my name to flee from your mind?
Once we were like brothers, you and I and we flew the backfield of Stain flying high the banner of Curse and many feared us and fled from us. Like a knight of old you flew your ship into battle, fearless and unstoppable and the name of Marichek and Jhered Stern drove fear into our enemies. Now you feel abandoned, betrayed and stand against me. Is Jericho so evil? Who do you serve Marichek? Crice? Curse? Yourself? I say to you look around and check your back, look over your shoulder? It is not me standing there with the dagger at your backà.
Bandit24 my brother and my friend with all due respect, you stand with the very people that have pushed you out, used you and disrespected you from day one. I stood by you out of friendship and loyalty and when my loyalties conflicted with you I stood aside and allowed the parties to resolve the conflict. Always I stuck my neck out for you and Huff Technologies and always I defended you when others sought to take advantage of you. KOS to you am I? I ask you now, what would you have me do? What do you want for Huff Technologies, the company that once shined in the galaxy as the most efficient industrial corp. in all of Eve and now squanders its riches in the void of P3EN day in and day out!
I remember you Bandit24, you were the merchant soldier that took me in and taught me to be fair and just. You were the patron who taught me and guided me through the world of Eve. Now however, you are a stranger in a strange land that has lost his way. I ask you! Buy from me the guidance that you once cherished. Lo that I led you down a path of piracy and violence we did profit and we did become powerful and it was not I that led us to ruin but the lies and deceit of those we followed. ? I have stood with you at your side and watched you from afar and it saddens me and excites me that one day we would meet each other in battle. To the pirate syndicate it saddens me that I must do what I now do as I stood with you in battle and loved you like brothers. This path I have taken is a difficult one. But the visions of the Black Oracle of Curse were clear; a pirate king would rise and unite the North and would rule with a rod of iron. But this king would not rule by force or fear but by the will of the citizens who crowned him. I fear that I will not be this king and I fear this king will not come from geminate but from a place we least expect. The Emperor believed in these visions and his last order to me before his death was to seek the aid of an enemy in order to bring the vision to pass. I was stunned and confused for I knew not who to turn too. I believed at the time that I was to become this king and so I formed the Oracles of Cure and began the rituals to bring about the birth of this king. However, as I was about to begin the first transition I was approached by the Black Oracle again in a vision and she warned me that I was in error and told me what to do. The Emperors dream was in the hands of his enemy and thus I have come here to Jericho in a final act of loyalty to my Emperor. I do not care if you do not like this but is my duty to my fallen comrade. Rememberà there will always be enemies to fight so do not cling to old prejudice and vendettas for they will stifle your power and bring you to an untimely end. Look in the mirror my brothers it is not I who hold the dagger at your backsà
Curse oh mighty Curse the home of warriors and the true incarnation of Valhalla. Odin would surly bless such and image of warfare as I have seen with my own eyes. You are a dragon that wraps its coils around Eve and clinches the life from its bosom. Impenetrable is your armor and the flames of your breath devours all of your enemies. The blast of your wings shakes the foundation of the galaxy and the thunder of your feet is heard by allà and they fear you! However, your underbelly is soft and numb with the drunkenness of your victories. Even now your enemies sneak beneath you while you slumber and drive the lance through your heart. Anesthetized by your power and size the blade penetrates and punctures and the lifeblood flows from you and you do not see it. You become fatigued and wary and the strength ebbs from your body. Your muscle and sinew atrophy and your once penetrating eyes droop with lethargy. I bid you mighty dragon wake up and seek my council and listen to those that are among you who plead for you to turn from this path of destruction. I have come here to Jericho to execute the final order of the Forsaken Emperor, my final duty to the ideals he so cherished and the friend that has passed away. The prophecy will be fulfilled and I will not stop until the circle has been complete. I do not fear that I have made an erroneous decision nor do I fear the wrath of my former colleagues. Speak of me however you wish, the reality isà I am still Jhered Stern, the same Jhered Stern that flew next to you yesterdayà

Hmmmmm, although i'm currently away from eve, and just checked the forums to read all of this, all i can say is that i'm shocked. I know you well, and wish you the best in your new path. Each to their own. However, when i return to playing again i will have to follow HUFF's stance on relations with yourself. From what i read on this topic regarding bandit24, it looks like our paths will be crossing. Again, all the best, shame it turned out like this.
Ohhh and just a short message to HUFF.....I'll be back in no time at all

I must admit it was I who introduced Bandit24 to you and the rest of your gang in Sarum Prime and we had good times. But I condemn you for your actions against Cao Cao during the Huff FE split. You were one of the instagators that led to the split that killed the Empire, set them against bandit24 and set me on this course. I await your return and unless I recieve a request from Bandti24 not to do so I will hunt you and your conspiritors again and again. I know the other in Huff will support you but I'm letting them know now it was you who led the split wheather intentional or not you will pay.
This is just IC m8 in RL I'l still go drinking with you when you get back to the States.

Nice story there jhered, i won't pretend to understand what all the history is behind peoples seeming anger to you, but what i will say is that its nice to see people play EVE for their own personell enjoyment. Good luck and have fun.

This move seems to make sense to me. After the assassination of our Emperor you were crucial in rejoining the fractured remnants of the Forsaken Empire and offered new hope when sharing your visions of the future, a vision you claim our emperor believed in. We have only your word for this. A future were we left the Citadel of the Damned to the weak and the unworthy to serve the Dark Lord. If any other man but you had suggested this I would have killed them where they stood. Your loyalty and dedication was thought to be unquestionable so your orders were followed. But after leading us to our new home you soon deserted us to suffer more losses in moving through unfamiliar territory than during the battles in tribute.
As for old prejudices and vendettas, they arenÆt just held by us, it has been made clear to me on more than one occasion that your new corporation and its allies will come for us when they are finished with their current war. This in effect leaves us two choices, join that farce of a war against you now or wait for you to come to us. You have chosen a path which will lead you to fight the remnants of the emperors imperial guard along side his old enemies.
This leads me to conclude you were never the loyal servant of the emperor you claimed to be but an agent of his enemies. I think of you as a traitor to your supposed comrades and a disgrace to the memory of our once great Emperor. I will never again make the mistake of abandoning our home to empire miners. Your dead to me now, no longer my brother but my foe.

This I doubt, as far as i'm concerned you no longer speak for the Emperor. Nothing beats the feeling of taking the head of a traitor in battle and I honestly look forward to taking yours.

This move seems to make sense to me. After the assassination of our Emperor you were crucial in rejoining the fractured remnants of the Forsaken Empire and offered new hope when sharing your visions of the future, a vision you claim our emperor believed in. We have only your word for this. A future were we left the Citadel of the Damned to the weak and the unworthy to serve the Dark Lord. If any other man but you had suggested this I would have killed them where they stood. Your loyalty and dedication was thought to be unquestionable so your orders were followed. But after leading us to our new home you soon deserted us to suffer more losses in moving through unfamiliar territory than during the battles in tribute.
As for old prejudices and vendettas, they arenÆt just held by us, it has been made clear to me on more than one occasion that your new corporation and its allies will come for us when they are finished with their current war. This in effect leaves us two choices, join that farce of a war against you now or wait for you to come to us. You have chosen a path which will lead you to fight the remnants of the emperors imperial guard along side his old enemies.
This leads me to conclude you were never the loyal servant of the emperor you claimed to be but an agent of his enemies. I think of you as a traitor to your supposed comrades and a disgrace to the memory of our once great Emperor. I will never again make the mistake of abandoning our home to empire miners. Your dead to me now, no longer my brother but my foe.

Jhered, you have played many roles in this game. From miner in HUFF, to fighter with F-E, then commander with ORCUS. Seeing your history as such, it is no surprise to me that you have now shifted into a puppet in the ludicrously complex and truely attention-loving Jericho Fraction.
You say that I was left with the keys in ORCUS, that you entrusted Limpy and I with an entire corporation born of an entire alliance, yet I do not remember such a request being made of either Limpy nor I. What I do remember is late-night conversations on teamspeak between you and myself where I listened to your seemingly well thought-out plan of beginning a new era of CA pwnership of the NorthEastern regions. I was excited at the depth of your dream, and was 110% for it.
However, only a few days after purchasing office space in Hakonen, you were AWOL. Not only that, but Bandit24 was AWOL. What were Limpy and I to do? All our shared BPs were stolen, along with our common wealth and countless millions in modules and ships. Not much to start from. I was the sole leader and commander in ORCUS for nearly two weeks and in that time dozens of eve-mails to both you and Bandit24 went unanswered. Then I find out that you have been off playing Lineage2 with Bandit and the rest of the F-E members that you yourself had discredited as treasonous.
So there I was, director of a corporation that YOU started and recruited me into as one of seven Oracles. Yet I had recruited more than 30 members into ORCUS in that same two weeks by sharing the very same vision for ultimate power in the northeast that you had shared with me.
Not only that, but I was forced to deal with an absent Bandit24's command to not allow StarDog into the corporation. His intentions, no matter what they were, were shadowed by his stubbornness on this matter.
All of us that had joined ORCUS as a last resort to being abandoned by the Pillars of the Forsaken Emperor had seen the very same thing happen to them only weeks later by you.

I'm not sure if you were online through the whole FE split, but let me set the record straight. Firstly, i like cao cao, and have no trouble with him, nor have I. The incident in hakonen happened due to 2 reasons. 1) Warnei shot at havocide after getting a whole load of smack talk in local, namley him saying he was looking forward to shooting at us, etc etc, following that, bandit24 undocked in ohkunen to be pk'd by the 'pillars' of the Forsaken Empire. To say that i was the reason for the break up of the FE is a little harsh, I admit i wanted out, and so did others, but to say i was the cause of the FE being against bandit is a ridiculous notion.
I feel i still need to clear up the cao cao situation, there were something 5 bs's and a bb in hakonen, we had him scrambled, and webbed, and did we kill him???? no, for one simple reason, bandit made the call to let him go. So please, don't slate me for defending my fellow corp mates. Huff were declared KOS by FE not the other way round. And if Cao cao's reading this, i am sure you understand this incident was nothing personal against you, i like fighting along side you, but it was a difficult time for bot our corps, and i hope you don't hold a grudge 
The forsaken empire failed for many reasons, the huff split, lineage 2, corp theft, to be quite honest it brings back both good and bad memories in eve. Yes the FE was probably the biggest, and one of the best active pvp corps around, but greed gets hold of people, and a pvp corp that didn't really have any direction was boring to be honest.
I also turned sides, i went to BNC which most are aware of, where i had a lot of fun, but unfortunatley i wasn't online a whole lot, military ops were more on a large scale, and were in the main planned. I just didn't have the time to enjoy myself, hence the reformation of HUFF. Which i would also like to add, i'll quit the game before i quit HUFF

An interesting turn of events that I doubt anyone could foresee.
I enjoyed my tete-a-tete with Jhered, firstly in Fade and then in Tribute.
This move will do nothing but make JF stronger.

Frakri, I'm not sure you were there during the FE split! Mentally that is...
I spent 4 hours of game time trying to get all the people in Huff together while you guys were running around trying to gank each other in obe and Ohkunen. I was there and you guys took it upon yourself to attack the FE ships in the area. You instigated part of the rebellion and that is that. Say what you like but all know what happened.

As a former member of the PA, i can understand that the war has taken a heavy toll on both sides. This war, which in the beginning i believed in has made friends and enemies even more bitter during entire debacle, judging by the constant flaming or peoples threads and the overall bad feelings in which this war has prevoked.
I made the move of leaving and going independant, a decision i hope will have some benifits for me. It's a hard thing to leave good and trusted frieds in a corp, so i feel for your decision and hope that you make the best of things with your new friends, best of luck mate.
