The CCP has been monitoring the tech II prices and they are happy. Since they can see all qty they know the drop rate to agent runners is enough. So the question is: What are you doing with your tech II components?
Do you believe holding onto them will make you rich in the future? Dont you realize that the dev monitor those agent mission rewards and such on a daily basis. They are always playing around with the rewards. They add new missions and take away old ones. So the if you believe that holding onto the rewards will make you rich someday, your someday has passed. The ISk you could of invested into better equipment or a new skill is putting you farther behind that actually sell thier items on the market.
If you think you might need them cause you might get a bpo, you are wrong. The random drops never drop what you need. Most the goods on the tech II bpo are trade goods. Those goods are npc made anyway. People dont make bpc either. The lack of research labs is intense.
Tech II components are not for your R&D agent. The items a R&D agent request are trade goods and minerals. It has nothing to do with the Tech II component drops.
So the bottom line is dont hold onto your tech II components they are not going up in price, its just that no one is selling them. YOu can get more rewards by doing what others are not. --------------------------

What is it to the Devs to accomodate the market and drop more of one type tech II component to another. Say they see the need to release more thrusters. They would put more in the cycle rewards and poof you have more thrusters on the market.
All I am saying is that the likely hood that holding the tech II components to become rich off an increase price will be false.
If you want to hold off and wait for your bpo then you can. I would not since if I sell the components I get and buy them back at the same price whats the difference when my bpo comes. I still will charge for the cost and my time in the price of the mod or ship tech II. In the mean time I have the isk to do other things with.
Its not like the mineral market, its upto the players to mine the ore to get the minerals. Agents have a chance to get any type of tech II and the qty is based on the minerals and the eq. Soo the devs have more control than you might think. Because we know the mineral content of the ore we mine whats needed. We can not do that with tech II components. --------------------------
