Have fun.
So far I've succeeded in making that one come true each year. It's a short and simple one, but it is what it should all be about.
And yes that would include ransom or kill more

My resolution for Eve in 2009 will be 5120x1600, fullscreened with forced 16xQ AA and HDR.
As for my ingame resolutions, I think I'll settle with making sure my members stay happy and the corp keeps running smooth for another year.
We'll see how that one goes.

Edit: though one day I might set-up an untanked hauler and set in auto-pilot all over the place, just to see how long it is before it gets ganked. ____________ My views are my own |

I had a short list, but it sounded more like goals than resolutions. new year's resolutions are supposed to be noble, but virtually impossible for the person to achieve, like the infamous lose 30 pounds resolution. :P
hmm..so...resolutions...
umm...
I dunno. I like my EVE life as it is and as it is going. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- PROPOSAL: Chaos Incarnate's Face MMORPG: Many Men Online Role Playing Girls |

A resolution is not at all supposed to be noble or virtuous or difficult or impossible. A resolution is just a formal declaration. In this circumstance, a formal declaration (in as much as it's a public declaration that is) of goals you intend to pursue.
I mean, really, if it was about nobility - what's noble about the vanity of losing weight or eating healthy? -- What's your EVE New Year's Resolution for 2009? |

Noble in that you are trying to improve yourself, often for the sake of others. In the case of losing weight...remember people have to look at you from time to time. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- PROPOSAL: Chaos Incarnate's Face MMORPG: Many Men Online Role Playing Girls |

Not if you never go outside, because you're playing EVE.
OOH. New resolution: See the Sun at least once in 2009.
Anyway, vanity doesn't strike me as noble under any rationalization. Now, if the resolutions in real life were "contribute more time/money to charity" or "check in regularly on the elderly neighbor", cool. :) -- What's your EVE New Year's Resolution for 2009? |

Edited by: Orakkus on 27/12/2008 23:59:47 For 2009:
1. Finish getting the skills to pilot a Naglfar effectively. Sacrifice 100 noobs to the Minmatar Dev-God so that he FRIGGIN redesigns the thing.
2. Get a nickname.
3. Learn to translate "leet" speak. I will extend diplomatic relations to said speakers of "leet" speak.. instead of podding them at every opportunity.
4. Ship plenty of Boy Scouts from the Gallente Empire to the Amarr priesthood. This works from the RP side because they just let their slaves go.
5. Spend more PVP time in the uber "Reaper" class faction frigate...
6. Hide in some desolate, low-sec, dead-end system.. and just wait for prey. This will allow me to watch more Clipcritics on Youtube.
I only do diplomancy because I haven't found you.. yet. |

1000 noobs would require me purchasing a pressure washer.. and that's too expensive in today's economy..
