That is simple, the same reason why other alliances like CFS and SA that endured attacks from many enemy's are still alive:
Game mechanics.. when you die its not permanent, when you lose a ship.. you get a new one. |

I think people decided to wage war on CA simply because they all wear berets and have names like "Simeon" and "Bellamy".

I was out there, we fought a while, SA as allied but EV and the Collective kept pirateing our indies rather than go after curse. Don't know if they have changed but I still have this great captured log from a Stain Regional Manager, who was in the collective, admiting to pirateing us while admiting we were allies (FND with GWP and CC) and saying that the guy who they pirated last diserved it beucase he attacked them and talked smack. of course the guy was in a bestower so of course he would attack a fleet of 7 battleships :) oh and we had the log from the ship showing what actually happened. the guy admited it but basicalyl told us to f*ck off, they were bored...
Still 90% of SA are good eggs.

Above link states some of the reasons for the XIF/CA war, how it started, including the chat between the CA pilot and the XIF pilot, also has the CA/XIF NAP. One thing I don't understand, this is the third thread that I've seen, that goes into depth about the CA/XIF, 2 previous threads, the official NAP, which was last changed by a CA member, ie.
