I've made quite a few isk from the sale, thankyou very much Shadowed Command corp :) You "found out" that the character was up for sale? Was pretty sure I told the CEO that the character would be up for sale and that 1st refusal would go to anyone in the corp who wanted to buy him (minus his new assets and bulging 2 bil isk wallet of course) So, congratulations on your remarkable detective work. Is quite easy to gain the confidence of a corp.. Just be nice and friendly, play properly for a while then give the character away to someone with less scruples than you have... like taking sweets from babies. Before any of the crying Shadowed Command guys chip in, the story here is a genuine one... I took over running the character from a friend who has been quite ill. With his permission I was going to sell the character to raise funds for another one, but the chance to get away with a few bil extra was pretty attractive so I made the most of the opportunity and then left the corp. The original owner won't be back to Eve so what happens to this toon is of no consequence to him. I have been accused of taking advantage of a sick friend's good will.. possibly I did, but he knows all about it now and couldn't care less... rl friendship is obviously much stronger than the acquaintances you make in game. The character may well still be up for sale, but may also join another corp.... All offers of either considered. KOS? lol

Under the EULA the account itself can never be transferred under any circumstance. I suppose as you've already said your friend was a member of the corp you stole from the real proof that it was a character transfer as per the rules that character left the corp on the transfer date and then rejoined when you bought it right?

It's also worth noting that in order to sell a character you have to post on the Character Bazaar forum with that character, and the ISK for the sale goes to the character (for you to disburse as you see fit) before you transfer to the buyer. Kassar Temuja should keep that in mind, should they wish to pursue this character even after the second owner has parted company with said character.

If\when CCP investigate the claims made by various posters here that I participated in actions which were contrary to the rules laid down in the EULA, then they will see that nothing other than a simple deception in order to gain access to corp assets was carried out. All this was done within the allowable mechanics of the game. I lied and cheated and had fun doing it. I will do it again, but as Socket is now known it will be with a newly created alt. Just to make things easy for you in future, after I make a theft from a victim corp I will post the alt's name on C&P myself with an admission and a statement that it's Socket's alt. Is it immoral? yes, of course it is. Is it within the bounds of the game? Yes, of course it is. Would Eve be boring if we were all goody goody carebears? Too right it would. Learn the only worthwhile rule of Eve that is relavent to everyone: TRUST NO-ONE. Carebear tears? Don't you just love them!?!?!?!
