It's still in the works- we're crunching away at it, and it's progressing well. If I remember I'll throw a few screenshots up of what we have so far, but I'm madly busy right now. Only realised this had gotten bumped because of the 10 new responses (9 useless, one essay) to the form.. |

I don't know if anyone has said this yet... But i would love to have kills on my killboard 
But to answer the real question asked here...
1) Fast load times.
2) Simple interface without flashy stupid sparks or otherwise useless eye candy. (In other words, gets the job done without looking horrible)
3) Attention to details. I want as much statistics/intel/details as possible when i request them. There should be advanced features such as "track player" which would show you his reported movements through space so one can figure out his favorite routes etc.
I cannot say my wishes are "good" ones though since i don't deal much with killboards yet. Still a pvp noob.
EDIT: OFC there is more i would wish for but i am too tired to risk making myself look even more stupid.

As a Rails developer I am glad to see that RoR is becoming more popular than it already is.
Do you plan on opening up the killboard repository on github? I would love to be able to contribute to it. I was almost going to write my own killboard until I found this post.
Oh and a suggestion, comments on kills. So i can be like "lol nice fittings |

I'd like to see something about how often pilots blob people or not, but there's a problem I've realized with trying to do this approach.
I'm part of a two man gang. For example a t1 cruiser and an interceptor. A ten man blob comes after us. We kill their tackle interceptor and run away. It looks like we ganked some solo dude bringing way more firepower to the table than neccesary. 2 or 3 v 1. Because none of us died there is no record of the ten man blob. You going to take our word that there was a ten man blob? Should I comment every killmail describing how large a blob was behind the tackler kill? Yeah. There is no mechanic in place to account for this. Nothing you can program into a killboard will help because killmails themselves dont record all the nearby traffic.
I dont think they should. But its an interesting limitation to the system. And people asking for a rating on when a corp blobs or not are going to have to accept it as a simple killmail will always be innacurate in describing exactly what happened and why.

Aktualy, it si gut idae. CCP habe skills to piut a featrue in Eve. Alle palyars can see who habe kill rats. Gut to know who si carebar or no carebar.
