hmmm, I think skin pigmets should be available at character creation. Maybe I wanna be blue, gene manipulation can certainly change that ------------------------------ Homer: Don't you have school? Bart: Don't you have work? Homer: Touche ------------------------------ |

Evolution only works if the people with 'bad' genes die off before they have kids.... (aka - 'Natural Selection' - the weak/sick/stupid/ect die off before procreation)
The human race destroyed that back in the late 20th centuty with its medical knowledge...

Natural selection still exists, just that its more and more a matter of intelligence and common sense. ------------------------------ Homer: Don't you have school? Bart: Don't you have work? Homer: Touche ------------------------------ |

The real reason is that when people look at you they want to see something like them-selves looking back. Everything else is just a candy coated lie. 0.o It's not you... no wait it is you. |

Not really. Evolution is primitive and complex, but you are oversimplifying :)

Yep, exactly, you just have to define "not very long" ;) In the year 2525. If man is still alive...

Actually, I would expect that we would end up much swarthier from space based evolving. While space is, on the surface, a dark place, you actually end up exposed to considerably higher light levels for a compairable distance to a star, than if you were on the ground at the base of an atmosphere. Something about all that particulate matter stopping a much of the radiation on its way down.

I'm pretty sure our spaceships will have electromagnetic fields around them to block out radiation. And the windows would be tinted. If you even had windows on the bridge. It would probably just be a big monitor screen though. Originally by: Sochin Edited by: Sochin on 23/07/2004 02:33:32 My character is pretty black...I even have dreds

yeah.. either someone was messing around with the filters. Or they have a really weird list of foul lanquage over there in greenland or where ever they are.

I demand my writes as a Mackem to have the option of my character looking like a Charva.
I demand large hoop ear-rings, Kaapa tracksuits, Adidas trainers, multi-coloured scrunchies for my hair, and a penchant for White Lightning cider.
Oh, and the sound effect, "Lenz a tab?" would be cool too.
