Besides the obvious pvp/gank/scam methods of preying on carebear types, can anyone think of some amusing yet non lethal methods of griefing?

Warp into their mission in a frigate, don't ninja them. Just warp in. Most of them warp out immediately. Do this every day for hours and watch them cry about their ISK/hr. |

Not sure if this would work, I was thinking about fitting a frig with tractor beams and find some highsec miners putting stuffn into jet cans, then just drag there stuff away to a safe spot for ransom. |

You can't tractor yellow cans. However, you can can flip . . . and then tractor the can. Not sure why you'd want to do the tractoring at that point, but it is a possibility. |

Just bump them continuously with a battecruiser. They won't be able to warp away (lower's their overall mining yield) and they will no doubt start panicking thinking that a gank is coming! |

Look, Let me be the first one to say it's fun filling the tear bucket. Then even sitting naked pouring it over your head while touching yourself.
That being said. With the excellent work being done to smite the macro miner infestation maybe its time to consider the bottom line here folks. With the price of ships rising at a steep curve is it really intelligent to bite the hand that's feeding you? Seems to me there are plenty of other folks to defile. Mission runners, Incursion runners, Haulers, Ice miners, and dumbasses.
All of witch I understand take a bit more work and skill to blow up in some cases.
Think of it as keeping or cultivating a herd. Let their numbers grow. Give them a sense of security. Then when the crop is fat & ship prices are reasonable cull the herd.
The only reasons their should be opposition to a philosophy like this imho would be laziness & and ignorance.

I've often attacked the level 12/14 epic arc and killed the unique hostages by jet canning them 1 at a time and blowing the can up after my target refused ransom.
Watching hours of game time disentigrate in front of his eyes, as he crys is probabbly the most evil thing I've done in eve.
12 Epic arc missions down the drain. Cool thing is epic arc missions always spawn in same system so you can just hammer them all day. Not 100% sure if the mission container respawns after down time I doubt it or people would just farm the item non stop to sell to people who want to insta complete the pain in the ass mission. |
