You can't tractor yellow cans. However, you can can flip . . . and then tractor the can. Not sure why you'd want to do the tractoring at that point, but it is a possibility. |

Look, Let me be the first one to say it's fun filling the tear bucket. Then even sitting naked pouring it over your head while touching yourself. That being said. With the excellent work being done to smite the macro miner infestation maybe its time to consider the bottom line here folks. With the price of ships rising at a steep curve is it really intelligent to bite the hand that's feeding you? Seems to me there are plenty of other folks to defile. Mission runners, Incursion runners, Haulers, Ice miners, and dumbasses. All of witch I understand take a bit more work and skill to blow up in some cases. Think of it as keeping or cultivating a herd. Let their numbers grow. Give them a sense of security. Then when the crop is fat & ship prices are reasonable cull the herd. The only reasons their should be opposition to a philosophy like this imho would be laziness & and ignorance. Just saying. Max Eve... Burn it....Burn it All |

Ya gotta learn to not care:
"You have failed to usurp the CareBear level of don't care-edness.
Carebears don't care so much, they don't come to your space, and they don't harass you, and indeed they don't even fight back.
That is the ultimate don't care, and there isn't anything you can do, short of dying of starvation, next to a pack of Cheetos, that will demostrate a don't care level beyond that of the CareBear."
There isn't anything left for you to do to Carebears. -áGo, kill them some more. They're like fungus or bacteria, they won't die and they won't stop. All you have to show for years of organized harassment campaigns against them is ... nothing. |

CCP should make a type of EW that fucks with your UI, anyone played star trek armada and had that from the Borg. SO cool. Would love to do that to a few bots :) Or an EW that requries qwerty or mini game to disengage. Like uploading a compute virus battlestart galtica style.

Doesn't it make that fact that it worked even more epic? Kind-of like dragging the 6ft guy into 3ft of water and letting him drown, for not paying ransom money. You pointing this out actually made me like what he did more. I'm still smiling. LOL

Like anyone would care? There are WHs all around Jita all the time. I would be shocked if more then one person actually cared. Maybe I will test the theory tonight. I have collapsed WHs with people exploring them and getting 'trapped' (or had that backfire on me.. bad math?)
Couple years ago there was a thread about how all the 'griefers' just trying to strike back at all the bullying they received IRL. Listing several people by toon name and give hilarious examples of how they were probably bullies. The thread was hundreds of pages long of 'griefers' freaking out. I had tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard. I wish I could remember the thread title, if that thread even exists still. I thought to myself at the time, some Carebear just got the ultimate revenge. Either way it was a great read - this thread reminded me of it. |

Simple - could be done with a more realistic damage model. If you run into a massive hulk (40.000.000 kg) using a 4 times smaller mass like a stabber, what would happen? War dec.
You don't even need to attack them and some corps will get all freaked-out about it, start unmounting their POS's and staying docked/logged off etc. After 3 weeks of that the corp will start shrinking as members quit to go somewhere else so they can go back to mining/hauling/missioning

Ideally for non-lethal griefing you want to make some money out of it.
I have an industry alt in a cloaky hauler with which I started watching belts for jetcanning mining barges. When I found one, I would warp cloaked to the belt at 100, bookmark the can, and then create an off-grid safe.
The problem with cloaky haulers is that you can't fit a whole jetcan.
So then cloak, warp from the safe to the can, fill your hold, warp to the safe jettison it, warp cloaked back to the can, refill, etc.
You can empty out the whole can before they can bring back their hauler alt, and all that they see is you suddenly decloaking beside their can repeatedly taking their ore. Each full jetcan makes 5 mill isk, which is peanuts but at least something.
And the tears this has gotten me is lovely and worth way more than the ore. For bonus points, sell the ore and buy thrashers for your main and buddies to suicide gank with, or use the industry alt to refine the ore and build it into thrashers.
Of course, the problem is Hulks filling up ore cans then scooping it into the Orca alt. I've now moved on to deep space transporters, because they can load up the whole can before the orca tractors it in..... |

I have a life and a family actually. I have a good job, I get out. I am a pretty "decent" person in real life. No one has ever referred to me as a wuss in the real world, at least not to my face. I've fought in null and low and killed billions in WH space. I am not being a tough guy or a braggart, I am just saying the whole kid in his basement with no life who is scared of "real pvp" nonsense is getting old. Why should I have to be myself in a video game about internet spaceships though? Some of us just like to pee in the cereal of others when playing eve.
You want to mine in a belt all day, then do what you enjoy. We all pay our 15bucks or PLEX. But don't cry and spread the same ol gamer stereotype when others enjoy the game in their own special way. Null gets old after doing it for awhile, low can be feast or famine at times, so why pay to play in a way that we don't enjoy? CAPS LOCK: CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL. |

It's also funny if you act like it's your mission and he's the one invading it. 'WTF are you doing in MY mission?!!!"

2) flying into their mission and just sitting there is quite funny at times. |

Pretty much this. The true carebears in EVE are the griefers. Think about it. They pick victims that they know, historically, cannot or will not defend themselves (risk: nearly zero). They pick an activity with a gaurenteed outcome: CONCORDKEN. (risk: zero). And they know that CCP will not take action against them. Basically: Griefers in EVE has an absolutely safe environment from which to bully and harass other players.
The term "carebear" no longer makes sense when applied to miners and industrialists. The new term, "hardbears" comes to mind, cuz these days you gotta be tough or insane to mine in hisec. |

Sound pretty defensive. Why the need to try justifying yourself? Feel a bit guilty? |

Watching hours of game time disentigrate in front of his eyes, as he crys is probabbly the most evil thing I've done in eve. 12 Epic arc missions down the drain. Cool thing is epic arc missions always spawn in same system so you can just hammer them all day. Not 100% sure if the mission container respawns after down time I doubt it or people would just farm the item non stop to sell to people who want to insta complete the pain in the ass mission.
You sir are an evil bastard, I'm impressed by your ability to have fun while wasting someone's time and hopefully collecting some extremely entertaining logs.

Thanks for the intel thread. There isn't anything left for you to do to Carebears. -áGo, kill them some more. They're like fungus or bacteria, they won't die and they won't stop. All you have to show for years of organized harassment campaigns against them is ... nothing. |
