Edited by: DFox31 on 02/01/2009 02:40:45 I have been having this weird problem for the past two days. Whenever I undock sometime within a minute my screen will show this weird purple plaid pattern and I have to restart my computer to play again, then another interesting things happens. My internet goes out (Only on this computer) and to get it to start again I have to unplug the cable from my computer and then plug it back in again and it works instantly. From what I can tell it only happens
When I undock On my last character (If I open client A,B,C and D, ABC are fine but if I undock with D it will crash) - Still need to confirm this.
Have not had any problems like this before, can run 4 clients fine without overheating (So I doubt its that) Running windows vista 64 and have not had any recent hardware upgrades.

Originally by: yitzy Really odd about your NIC having issues when you undock... could this be a bad chipset loaded on or your mobo crying out for help under a bit of heavy load!
To check your NIC you can try Microsoft's Nic tester on this address: Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool
Does this happen on any other games? Next time when your Nic goes out check the drivers section in your pc and see if the card shows any issues. You can find this under, right click on my computer and click on Manage and in there you can see the Device manager look for any question marks or anything that sticks out...
Id be more worried about a piece of hardware going haywire than a game going purple.
Also did you install anything new in the last 2 days.
Internet problem seems to have fixed itself, this only happens with eve and its becoming more and more frequent. Only thing I can think of that I installed is 'gom player'. Also for one crash it decided to turn green instead of purple :/

Updated video card drivers, still crashes. Spent a bit of time cleaning out the case with compressed air. Have not done the interval fix yet but will try tonight.
