the word is, they were a bigger worry to the roids than they were the unarmed bessies and miners.
Check out the thread in crime and punishment started by them "Anti-pirates are shooting miners now"
In this it seems although the Bone Collectors were in the same belt as miners that had not paid to mine there and anti-pirates that were never likely too, they failed to fire a shot.
But of course this is only a guess, which fits the only known facts I have (and the fact I also saw a pre-edited post earlier on this thread, no names no pack-drill).
