Alright, I've been working with Kable133 setting this up. we have a time, a place, and a reason.

coming from someone who has been to a couple EVE meets before, I'd suggest making a separate thread for the meet and atleast get it stickied, Feb 18th is also a bit last minute, pushing it back would yield a bigger turnout.

What I'm looking at is this is a test run, see what kind of interest can gets generated, who shows, etc. The next one will no doubt be better planned / longer notice.
This get together is no big production; hang out, have a few drinks and bullshit for as long as we can, etc.

So yea, I didn't realize Feb. 18th is the Guavaween Knight Parade this year ( http://www.813area.com/guavaween/ 2011 review). Ybor will be crazier than normal due to this.
The parade passes in front of the location the meetup is set for. It is usually over around 9 to 9:30 pm but parking and getting into Ybor around that time will be a fail-boat. I recommend taking Exit 3 off I-4 to Adamo then finding parking in or around the parking garages in Ybor.
I understand if some peeps decline given the new information, for anyone that will still make it I'm looking forward to meeting you.
