Has anyone done this & if so, what were your fittings? Or is it even possible? Just looking for a different route than a BS, would like to work my way to a Nighthawk.
Thanks

Could... but drake would likely be just as quick and tank far far better. Cerberus would be far better ratting though.

Yup, i do lvl4's in Cerberus.
I have both a HAM and HML set-up which are near identical.
5x T2 HAM/HML 1x T2 Med SB, 2x T2 Hardeners, 1x T2 AB, 1x T2 Cap recharger or T2/named Cap Battery 2x PDU2 + 2x BCU2
If you use HAM then you may need to switch a PDU2 for a RCU2. With max skills all the mids can be run constantly (which is nice), if not just switch off the ab when it's not needed
Hasn't let me down yet. =============================================

Like TimMC said, you would probably be better off in the drake, due to both superior tank and firepower, and much easier fitting.
If you really have your heart set on it though, something along these lines wouldn't be out of the question I guess
5x HML II, Scourge
Medium Shield Booster II Shield Boost Amp II 3x Shield Hardeners
2x Ballistic Control System II 2x Beta Reactor Control: Capacitor Flux Coil I
2x CCC I rigs
Tank isn't amazing, but should be able to handle most Gurista and Serpentis missions. DPS is on the low side, so it might be taking you a while to bring those bigger ships down. --

Not too long ago, my favourite mission ship was the Cerberus. I have now moved on to the Nighthawk.
My level 4 mission fit:
[PvE - Mission] Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Ballistic Control System II Pithi B-Type Small Shield Booster Pithi B-Type Small Shield Booster Caldari Navy Ballistic Deflection Field Caldari Navy Ballistic Deflection Field Medium Capacitor Booster II,Cap Booster 400 Heavy Missile Launcher II,Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II,Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II,Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II,Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Heavy Missile Launcher II,Scourge Fury Heavy Missile Anti-Kinetic Screen Reinforcer I Anti-Thermal Screen Reinforcer I
This fit works wonders in Caldari space. Kinetic resist is 95% and thermal is 86%. DPS with very good skills and implants +500. Bring some precision ammo for the fast and very small ships (you might need it to speed things up).
If you get Sansha/Blood Raider missions just swap the kinetic hardeners for photons and you will be fine. Dont forget to keep range (only against em/thermal foes).
Imo, there is no other fit than 4xBCS in the lows if you want to run level 4 missions with decent efficiency.
Fly safe!

Edited by: Daily Essentials on 03/01/2009 02:20:01 Edited by: Daily Essentials on 03/01/2009 02:15:48 Pretty close to the same set up Wired mentioned above. DPS is a little over 500 with good implants and skills trained (all my missile base skills, T2 missile skills, and HAC skill maxed). Some missions are fustrating and dangerous if you don't take a lot of care. Cerb T4 is mostly speed tanking with some active shielding.
But I still do missions just as fast with using a Rokh and can be quite lazy while doing them. Just depends on my gaming mood as to whether I use the cerb or rokh. Still have a few weeks before I get to use a marauder.
Eh, and the drake can not touch a cerbs dps...
