as the title says this is nothing "omfg you're amazing", because, tbh, killing an orca isn't something really to brag about, a big ass slow ship with zero defenses, woopty do.
but i've participated in the destruction of two of these beasts in the last couple days.
First story is pretty simple, one of my corpmates going through a random lowsec system spots 2 hulks and an orca, we all think it's a trap, no scouts, no combat ships in nearby systems, we're bound to get hotdropped by a carrier or something. 2 of us race 18 jumps to get to the system where our cohort is waiting just outside the system. we get there, our wolf hops in and gets a point on the orca, we jump in, points on the orca and pop the hulks then take the orca down, some good hate mail followed.

we responded with a response somewhere along the lines of "your husband didn't have a valid mining permit and we were forced to remove his ship etc etc"
my corpie has the reply we got, but i remember it including the words "we had the proper permissions and we will be reimbursed." i had to run to the ****ter promptly.
then today one of our alt scouts found a wt orca mining with two hulks in a system 23 jumps away. i hopped into my trusty crusader and started running in that direction. these guys mine in a high sec area that is in the middle of nowhere and they are usually the only ones in local usually ranging from 4 to 13, and whenever one of our ships enters the system they immediately log off making it impossible to grab one of their ships.
we devise a plan using agro timers etc. to grab the orca and implement it immediately. alt scout flies into system, approaches said orca, starts shooting and gets a point on it right as we jump and warp in. i land on the orca in my sader and start orbitting and pew pewing as the hulks disappear from local and then off scan, but the orca remains. i'm chewing through it slowly as our fc goes and grabs his domi that's next door, when he gets back my valiant sader has it to half structure and his drones and guns quickly blast the orca hull into oblivion. we then grab a prober and pop the pod as well.
i realize popping these defenseless large ships is no great achievement, but damn it was fun

If you feel it's appropriate to spend real life money on internet pixels in clear violation of the rules the company that owns that pixels made, perhaps you need a change in priorities? And if your husband has a habit of tearing up the house, perhaps a change in marital arrangements as well?

The EHP it still has but the shield recharge got nerfed. Dunno how good it is now but it's not what it was.
