They exist in the database but have never actually been ingame. You can't get them and, as far as I'm aware, you never could.

"To get level 5 in all 366 skills would require 411,648,000 skill points (SP). "
- Evemag
Well, assuming that figure rounds to about 411 Million SP you divide that by an average of 2500 sp per hour.
164,400 hours
or
6850 24 hour days
or
19.1 Years.
Start Training. Honestly, i hope they add an implant / learning skill soon so that there are at least some sort of excitement to getting new ships instaed of "Oh i can fly *ship* now! AWESOME!"
followed shortly after by
"Oh, well apparently i have another 30 days of training to use it well... Fk it, go back to the *ship*" =----------=

Why are there still people playing EVE believing you will win the game when you have trained all skills to lvl 5?

I actually am pretty sure a +6 or +7 was given out in EVE's first few months during an event, but for all intents and purposes now, they no longer exist in game.

You never win Eve. I just dont want to spend 19 years to train all the current skills meanwhile there will be another 10-15 years of skills out there to train. Seems kind of redundant and pointless. 2ó have been added to this thread. |

+1
I believe that +7s were given out as a prize in the early days, though I remember reading about them, I cannot locate any details.
This query crops up every few months. Perhaps an entry in the beta Eve-wiki is required. -- Rgds Mike

I actually am pretty sure that is just an urban legend. I think it surfaced around 2 years ago and is continually gaining strength as more new players join the community and old timers leave.

You may be thinking about +5s. In the early days only +3s existed. Then +4s were introduced, and later +5s, and even later +1s and +2s.

thats bull**** .. Im one of the players that play eve since release ( 2003 ), and i can tell you that implants simply did not existed first years... figures the +7 implants!!
During first years existed just basic learning skills, no advanced and no implants. I took 88 days to train bs lv5 .. i will never forget how long it was.

Are you seriously trying to tell me you have a skill-plan in EVEmon that has all skill trained to lvl 5 in it... AND you are actually dreaming of following that skill-plan ? -----------------------------------------------

LMAO. You don't 'win' Eve. This isn't an FPS game. Everything you do, if directed at 'winning' Eve, is done so in vain because there is no objective to claim. The best you can hope for is expand your corporate territories, fleets and assets... and wait for the next up-start master-mind to bump you from the scene. Therein lies the fun. |

There's lots of items in the database that have never seen the light of day and probably never will.
The tales of +7's been given out in years gone by are completely untrue. |

I was given +7 ('Elite') perception implant on Sisi about 2 1/2 years, and many many mirrors ago, for killing a BH in a Machariel (along with an officer web), but as has been pointed out, they have never appeared on TQ. --------------

Edited by: Dylatar on 21/01/2009 16:20:51 Well I'm not playing Eve since Beta, but I play since May 2004. And I confirm what other players already said: +7 implants never found their way into the game. They still may exist within the item database for any reason.
But the only time they appeared in eve, was as entry within the implants tab on the market. Later they were removed from the market, as they never existed as a real item. Instead of them, advanced learning skills were introduced a bit later.
That are not the only items that already had found their way into the database and/or market, never were introduced, and have been taken out again later. A few years ago also comet material existed as a market entry, but lasted only one or two patches long. |

Pfff.... Don't dig in the DB, its a waste of time. You have to realize that as eve ages, different Devs with different visions of how eve should be have come and gone. The DB stores all that stuff they've ever worked on, or at least a lot of it. Anyone remember the Terran weapons? You know, the large rails that gave HUGE shield buffs? I'd like a pudding pack of those plz...

It's easy to "win" at EVE.
Just have a spouse that is a gamer too and she doesn't care if I play 6 hours each evening...
