The critical problem is that the mission is introducing 0.0 rats into high security space.
On the border systems, it makes sence, but what I'd like to know is how the Angel Cartel managed to get something on the order of 20 odd cruisers deep into Imperial space, without Concord even giving them a second notice.
It just doesn't make sense.

As an alternative, why not create the usual "mission bookmark" like any other and stick a jumpgate there to roleplay it. That way no innocents get killed.
I do, however, like the thought that you could tank these badboys in a 1.0 while they omgwtfpwn everyone else coming to and from the gate and you can nick all their gear

This is the sort of thing I should imagine most of us have been wanting to see, and yet you remove it??? Put it back at once! NPC combat is totally different to PvP combat. As long as players aren't getting scrambled, jammed or webbed, I don't see a problem with it. It could actually help to explain the security ratings of systems more. Even industrial pilots must want some excitement. This might even make them fit more than expanders and afterburners.

I believe that contradicts the term High Secure
Nicely put Riddari :) However, a pirat may also be able to penetrate High Sec space and destroy your beloved Hauler with Xk of Megacyte. Therefore, traveling in High Sec space still requires to watch your behind. Police cover is never 100% (although they like to believe they do).
Nevertheless, nice to hear something from ya.

Moving it 250km from the gate sounds like a good idea. Other players would have to go out of there way to get involved; yet it gives a nice "light show to people."

Yes pls keep them and move them a bit further from gates.
Another thing tho, pls lower their rate, last night when doing normal courier missions every 2nd gate had either an ongoing blockade mission or leftovers from 1, not a problem for me, but kind of silly and annoying doing 15-20 jumps and see that all the time.

OMG, I just had the level two version of the blockade and it was the ONLY mission that I have thouroughly enjoyed so far. Please don't remove it!
Later on I saw the level 3 version of it and I just sat at the gate watching the whole time, it was awesome.
Getting a cool drop is nice but I'm clicking that 'accept' button to see if I get the blockade mission :)

Originally by: Zrakor It will be temporarily moved to 0.3 space and below during todays downtime, until a fix has been implemented for the bug that's causing the pirates in this mission to attack innocent bystanders. By design the pirates are only supposed to target the mission doer, but they will fight in self defense should any other player attack them of course.
coolness, I am glad to see that. Thank you.

trust a m0o to point that out
it does get annoying when someone comes and taxes all ya loot thou. Great mission thou, especially when theres like 4-5 people on the same mission (except for the lag) as there was last night in nourvukaiken. Lots of fireworks to look at

Nuts to that mate...
Next you're going to tell us that the developers are going to implement a save game feature...
Death to AFK players..

Once the thing with them attacking non-participants is fixed, move 'em back nice and close to the gates... say at around 40km or so.
That'll get everyone excited without killing people who don't want in on the action. ------------- My salsa makes all the pretty girls want to dance and take off their underpants. I <3 ( . Y . ) |
