Ill start us off.
Shield tanking laser Myrmidon
Highs: 6x Heavy Pulse laser
Mids: 2x invulnerability fields 3x F-59 Regolith Shield Induction
Lows: 1x PDU 1x Cap power relay 1x damage control 3x heat sinks
rigs: 3x core defence purger
90k EHP with 170 regen/sec (not good I know but it takes the edge off ships that do mediocre dps) and 750dps. Fitting is a little tight without a 5% PG impant, so sometimes you will need to drop a shield extender for a warp disruptor.
Will run for 4 minutes with conflag, 8 minutes with MF and permarun with the less cap intensive crystals.
Only downsides are lack of tackle, which you need someone else to deal with unless you drop an extender for a disruptor. and if they are outside of 25km you cant engage them. Which isnt too bad, because then you can just warp off.

I have a laser tempest to make lightshows...
first you drop a can or two, and "attack" it with shield transfer and neut drones, then you shoot those drones with your large lasers, which are not able to track the drones, therefor infinite laser show.
fill the lows with cap equipment so you're stable, the meds with some painters for extra laz0rbeamz.
Relax, cause Frankie goes to Hollywood.

Is this a lolfit at all? I certainly does the job.
Dual heavy beam laser Dominix:
5x dual heavy beam laser, salvager LiF AB, cap rechargers DCU II, 4 N-type hardeners, LAR II, CPR II
Drones as required - I usually carry Garde, Ogre, Hammerhead and Hobgoblin.
This ship is for easy missions that have really tough structures, worth taking down, in them. I use this for Duo of Death - lock everything, let loose on the spiders with the light drones while killing the guns, then kill the 2 BS with everything. Scoop the Gardes, launch Ogres, start firing everything at the building, AB around collecting the loot and salvaging. Once this is done, go for bio break/make coffee/make snack. Come back, wait a little longer, collect the loot can and go home. Sometimes killing the building is worth the effort, but at least you don't use up 50k isk worth of ammo finding out!
Works for me. YMMV.

I don't know about lolfits but as for uncommon fits:
Laser cruiser: Med pulse lasers with scorch have 20k optimal and do nice damage. For most t1 cruisers best chance to deal decent damage at 20k(Warp distruptor range) is by making an inconventional fits: Laser Moa, Laser Ferox are excellent examples for this.
Gallente recons as shield tanked blaster boats: Both Arazu and Lachesis make good close range combat boats. They have a decent drone bay and lots of mid slots, which allow for a nice shield tank. Lachesis is almost on par with HAC's. Arazu, although weak, can fit a covertops cloak and has the surprise option.
Deimos as vagabond wannabe: Deimos has a falloff bonus. Combined with rigs, and null ammo neutron blasters on deimos have 15k falloff. Deimos is also a fast and agile HAC. You can play the "stay outside the web/scrambler range and shoot the enenmy to death" game with it. But QR has kinda ruined that kind of gameplay. |

Cheapest way of running level 5 missions in low sec.
Ship 1: Standard drake with maxed passive shield tank, no BCUs.
Ship 2: Brutix with 3 large shield transfers, with mids and lows full of CR II/CPR II. Hammerhead II drones.
I only used this once, when I accidently accepted a mission in a system with a few active pirates. It actually worked. 
I'd be surprised if anybody can do worse than this.
