I think that Eve is relatively expensive and that we should all pay in one currency (Euros), even if that does not favour certain economies.
These days, more and more MMO games are providing alternative ways of generating revenue and are becoming cheaper, even free in some cases.
I think CCP should drop the price of subscription when they bring out the new boxed set and get a double-whammy bit of publicity.

Then Eve is doomed just like he's doomed the UK.
He couldn't save a cat from drowning in a puddle. He's got his head so far up his own ass, he probably wouldn't even see the cat. He has a habit of seperating the wheat from the chaff and then offers us the chaff with a line that there's economic value in it. Stupid Brits accept it though and proclaim him the hero.

The CSM results include subscriptions percentage by country. UK has around the same percentage of players that those under the Euro have. (~14% and 20% respectively) .

Anyone saying that its not CCP's fault is 100%, however to say that it isnt CCP's issue is totally wrong. People seem to forget that this is a business being run before it is a game. If the pricing becomes uncompetitive compared with most other games then they may worry about losing large chunks of their user base at a time like this. How many player in the UK have multiple accounts and will be going down to just the one because of the costs?
Also its not just about losing current customers but also about attracting new ones. A player decides that they are bored of playing WoW and looks at other MMO's to try. Well there is Warhammer, Everquest, Conan, Eve, etc. They try out a couple and cant decide which to actually subscribe to until they see the pricing, then they instantly cross eve off the list of potentials.
Whilst at first glance it would be less profitable for CCP to introduce subs in sterling, in the long term that may be less damaging to the customer base.

Whinging Poms?
Seriously guys this is simple global economics, nothing new. To expect CCP to drop their prices just because your exchange rate has worsened is ridiculous.
For myself in Australia the cost of my EVE subscription has increased by 30%+ in the last few months.
However on the plus side petrol costs have dropped about $0.50 / litre in the last month or so, and considering I use about 200 litres of fuel a month that's another $100 in my pocket a month enough to cover the increase in EVE subscription and buy a couple of slabs of beer on top.
