"In computer science, a pointer is a programming language data type whose value refers directly to (or "points to") another value stored elsewhere in the computer memory using its address."

As the market is player driven, any new trader is likely to be a threat to other traders at some point or another. The most basic advice - buy low, sell high - is the best pointer you will ever get. Profit is what you seek, engage your brain to find the best way to go about it.

If you buy things cheap then sell them for more money you can make a profit.

Edited by: soldieroffortune 258 on 07/01/2009 02:04:16 buy low, sell high is the jist of it
modify orders two or three times, and you should do decently
also, you gots to do price checks as well, for example, you place a buy order for Armr Explosive Hardener II for 1,000,000 isk, and the sell prices are hovering around only 1.2million isk, your not going to make much profti, so you need to look around in your area to find where they are selling for the most amount, then sell there
EDIT:
NEVER forget, TRADING ISNT INSTANT ISK, dont expect to be a billionaire in your first month of trading, be patient, ive been doing this for a month, started w/ about 25million isk, three days ago i put up 150million in buy orders, and i started my alt about a month ago ( i had about 160million, i like to save a bit of isk for price modification )
