Just curious if anyone has any input into the reasons...
a) Arbalest Cruise Missile Luanchers have gone down in price close to 2.5 million isk per unit. This seems strange to me as they are named items that can't be manufactured. Is it possible that there are more on the market? It seems like the prices of these would stay pretty consistent.
b) Covert Ops Cloaking Devices and Improved Cloaking Devices (T2 variant) have skyrocketed in price over the past couple months. I was buying these for like 4 million isk a piece, and now they are selling for like 10-14 million isk a piece... Does this have something to do with less blueprints of these or someone controlling the market on them?

Covert ops are due to the changes in ships that can use covert ops cloaks, namely the deep space transports.
The arbalest cruise missiles are likely due to the missile changes that went in at the same time, which effectively made training for that T2 missile launcher that much more purposeful. |

Ok, that kinda makes sense, but isnt it really based upon supply and demand? So you are saying the demand for cloaking devices has gone way up and the demand for arbalest launchers has gone down..

Seconded. All mission runners are now gunning for T2 missiles. I've read lots of threads on it in the missions forum.

Seconded. All mission runners are now gunning for T2 missiles. I've read lots of threads on it in the missions forum.
I guess I can understand that, but cruise nissiles 5 takes a good 30 days to train, so I would think there would still be a ton of people that would use the Arbalest launchers. I know I used them for a long time in my Stealth Bomber just because I hadnt trained cruise missiles 5.

Most missioners already have cruise 5 I think.

Most missioners already have cruise 5 I think.
And if they do not then those launchers are re entering the market they day they have it. Unless they get blown up ofc.

Covert ops have been upto 17 mil because I wanted them too. I am now shifting my attention to other items. So you can breath again.

Hehe. Well, I have a pretty nice supply of these myself at the moment. I'm glad i held onto them when I did.

The spike in covops cloak prices is temporary, inventors will make sure of that sooner rather than later, it's just going to take a while.
The drop in Arby cruise however is permanent, unless new changes to missiles will surface.
