As the goon noted, in this case you'd likely want to alpha the Veldnought. As we know, it likely isn't fit for HP (specially, not trimarked). Still, managing to get a fleet (plus the overflow fleet) to position, with a load of vultures and people who'd actually defend Chribba into position and to fire in concert would be a feat next to impossible.

Also a note to defenders, doesn't armour repair help only after the cycle? As such, you'd rather want Basilisks so that the RR would be effective at the start of the cycle.

I once worked out it would take 60 odd torpravens to do it - before the concord buff. Now it's probably more and you may have more luck with drones now that concord jams and neuts.

You have my torp raven to complete this task. I will happily take a sec hit of +1.9 to -10 just to be involved with something this epic. After all I am the KAMIKAZE SHIP SPECIALIST.

I love the veldnaught, but you guys have to admit if this were possible it would be amazing.

You would get the 7000 Anti-Chib guys PLUS nearly the entire remaining population of the game all on one grid. It would shatter all records!

I agree, capital ships in empire space are a legalized cheat.
They allow that just 'couse the player is named 'chribba'.
 shame.

Before the most recent Concord boost you would have needed aproximately 100 BS to kill the Veldnaught (shield boosted Revelation with expanded cargoholds has about 4x the EHP of a freighter).

Its a metaphorical profit. The ship is worth more than EVE itself by Chribba's own reckoning. By my calculations, it would take just 7000 battleships to pop a dreadnaught before the Concord response, averaging at 10 seconds.

now you need to wait several years to be able to actualy get 7k people into one system without a node crash ...

i dunno what's funnier - the number of well-known corps who've already worked out how many BS they'd need to kill the veldnaut, or that they've all come up with wildly different numbers. :D

OP: 7000 BS may or may not kill the veldnaut, but it'd probably kill the node first.

Not really, the numbers from Goons are probably with the current Concord while my numbers was from before the recent buff.

The other really wild numbers are from people assuming Chribba has the Veldnaught set up for max EHP while in reality it's just a massive secure can with mining lasers.

The Veldnaught is special, the only one in the game that sits in Amarr, Meaning Chribba can price it as he pleases. He priced it as "There is not enough ISK in EVE, The only person who could offer enough is CCP."

Meaning the Veldnaught is worth several hundred trillion isk. As I said, metaphorical profit :)

7000 battleships, is that really what you'd need?

Have you remembered pre buff Jita local when there's even 1000 in local and most of them are docked?
