wish i had my old monitor back - a 24" crt mother of all monitors. it could barely fit on the desk as the back went back around a metre (possible exaggeration)- would make a top addition to my set up now everythings gone flat screen... |

OP is correct. Dual 19" should be the bare minimum.
But... Dual 24" ftw  |

I finally got it to work the way I wanted, one is my main "gameing screen" while the other is my browsing screen, gameing screen is kept clear of icons and the task bar at the bottom, that is for my browsing screen, and I like the fact that I can still look at the comp clock while playing a game in full screen ( not a big thing but nice all the same lol).But after going dual monitor I will never go back to single monitor, it is just tooo adictive.....as the OP stated lol.
Use DisplayFusion, one of the best multimonitor software in existence simply because of its simplicity. It's freeware with the option to upgrade but I doubt you will need the 'pro' version. |

I've tried dual monitors several times and just couldn't find any use for them ... A single 24" monitor does everything I need (although my next one will be 30" probably, when this Dell one dies [no signs yet]).
I'm probably just better at alt-tabbing than you guys or perhaps I can't look in 2 different directions with my eyes. ;-P

dammit, you went and reminded me.
My second monitor broke a few months back, and at the time I was too poor to replace it. Had to go cold turkey.
I could afford one nowadays, though. But I've gotten used to single-monitor again. Willpower, willpower, willpower....

How can you adequately control and micromanage 32 separate characters at once?  I can barely handle two on eve
