BUT! BARRIERS TO ENTRY ARE HIGH: REQUIRED: Brain REQUIRED: Somewhat active REQUIRED: Not an ***** NO minimum SP requirement! IT INCLUDES THESE GENERALLY ATTRACTIVE FEATURES: It's not a PVP corp! This means we do not, in fact, care about your K/D ratio or whether you can fly a dread. Newbie friendly to PvP newbies, industry newbies, or ACTUAL newbies (on SHC, ololol) It's pretty small! This means that if you join, people will actually know your name and talk to you, rather than treating you as just another warm body. (or cold if you're dead) Even though we're small, we have US and EU members. This means that there'll be someone to chat and play with no matter where you live. (UNFORTUNATE FACT: This may be a lie if you live in Australia) We have a TS server! (Who doesn't?) We'd like it if you had a microphone, but just signing in and listening during ops is fine too. Polysynchronicity Amarr MEK Enterprises	Posted - 2009.01.20 04:02:00 - [8] "The suicide op was a failure. Nobody died." We had our first PvP op yesterday (Sunday). I was FC, special guest and advice was Zilulil. Brief rundown: We went through lowsec Aridia and crashed into an Axiom Empire gang almost immediately. Fortunately they were a little slow on the uptake and we managed to escape without losing a single ship. We proceeded down into Khanid, encountering almost nobody. Some farmers were spotted but nobody had brought probes, so they were safe in their safespots. Shortly afterwards we ran into a Morsus Mihi gang of T2 cruisers, which tried to chase us down. We ran, with much yelling, into the Khanid->Querious pipe while the Morsus Mihi gang set up a bubble behind us. A lot of FCs at this point would have logged the fleet and waited for MM to go away rather than advance into Fountain, but I decided to attempt to reach the Querious->Aridia pipe through upper Querious. This plan was complicated somewhat by a KIA gang at the Querious end of the Khanid->Querious pipe. Fortunately we managed to get into and out of system faster than they could muster a force to tackle us, and continued westward through upper Querious harassing some ninja ratters along the way. Upon reaching the pipe back to Aridia, everything seemed to be looking up. Unfortunately, we weren't quite out of the BoB-infested woods yet. About 1-2 jumps up the pipe, we ran into the same Axiom Empire gang we'd encountered at the start of our journey. As far as I can tell, we warped from either end of the same system and passed each other mid-system. Some of the AXE pilots turned around and attempted to catch us, but were unable to keep up with our smaller ships. From there it was smooth sailing back to our home in Aridia. Kills for the evening: 0 Losses for the evening: 0 PvP pilot of the day award goes to filingo rapongo, for scouting every jump in his Enyo. Balls of the day award goes to Zilulil, for chasing down and almost catching a Coercer while being pursued by a pair of Morsus Mihi Vagabonds. Fail of the day award goes to me, for ordering the gang to undock and promptly bumping the "reboot" switch on my PC. tl;dr - join MEK, we have great PvP ops and I can't seem to get my gang killed even when I try ---------- Now recruiting:
