Dude.. The good pirate corps dont come to you, you come to them. So you wont find them in the recruitment threads, and you will for sure not be welcomed in any of them if you are so lazy you cant even go out and gather information on them yourself... Only way to do it, is to be in low sec, meet them and make an impression or know someone already inside one of the corps.

NQX is a highly snobby outfit that makes itself feel special by selectively excluding some people while including others that come recommended by friends, its what all the serious internet spaceship pirate corps do

Can join our corp, we got 3 war decs in empire about to start with spys in place already.
should also mention that its the only way now to get blind recruited to our main pirate corp which resides in 0.0 atm. Weve been killing things for 2 years +. There will be a killboard score requirement before you can join the main corp.
This char is made to purchase a new main, sold my old one. Yes atm this is my main. |

Having spent A LOT of time fighting pirates in low sec, I would be happy to share what I have learned.
Ihakana Area - Idle Empire. My favorite pirate group. They fight no matter what, and do so in numbers to where the opponents have a chance. They are not afraid of a fair fight, however some mother ships have started to appear. Never used to move, but now seem to roam in providence.
Aurohunen Area - Dirty Filthy Perverts and friends. They used to be my favorite group. However after a little 4 vs 1 with jamming drones I have lost some respect for them. But to the main point. They are a solid group that uses low numbers, however who are heavy on falcons. Roam very few jumps and are a little hesitant to engage.
Decon Area - Very small low sec only two systems, but seem to be pretty busy. Bellum's gang run in small Battleship gangs and tend to use ecm rarely. Like their faction ships, and marauders.
Rancer - Good group here but they average 20 in gang. If you are looking for fun fights this is not your group. However if you are looking to win, then they are.
Hier - I believe this is where Final Stand now reside. They are a very solid group. A small portion of them are decent pvp'ers and if you are caldari spec, you can learn a lot from them. However most of the time they are in very large numbers.
Roamers - Black Rabbits. -10's that do not stick to one system. If you wish to roam this is your group, however again, gangs I have seen average 20 or more.
This is just a quick run down of the more active groups Ive seen. Hope it helps.

With all due respect, the last time we killed you, there was only ten in gang (or at least on the mail). I don't remember the last time I was in a twenty man gang, though I am unlucky and manage to kill traffic/activity by my mere presence. Also, I have had fun fights. I don't really understand what you mean. If you mean engaging long odds in a full **** fitted Nightmare, I don't know many people who can afford that kind of fun. If you mean the majority of our kills are us handing the asses of the unprepared back to them, that's essentually pvp in Eve, I'm afraid. Although, there are still many "fair" fights to be had and won (or lost). All aspiring pirates should know this from the outset.
For the rest of you, if you want into the united send me the application fee of 250 million ISK and I'll see what I can do.

JJust out of curiosity...could you tell us why yu have "had it" with 0.0 as i have been there for quite some time i find there are two types of pilots who leave 0.0 those that jus cant cut it, and those that have played so long in one corp that it is just time to do something else..those usually move on to pirating in earnest and do not need the comfort of "help" to do so....so how long have you been in your current corp, and how long have you been 0.0 or are the two one in the same?

I wouldn't bother with the nubs in Rancer. They would struggle to get into Sniggwaffe and they accept anyone. |

Back in my old Aurohunen days I will put a plug in for DFP and The Carebear Stare.. Htrag and the Stare are a good small corp with some skills...

The black rabbits and Snigg would be my recommendations, especially to learn the ropes of piracy. Top guys and top pilots, who look after their own.
BTW nothing wrong with a large fleet occasionally.... not many ways to take on the big FW or anti-pie fleets other than getting a fleet yourself and its nice for everyone to fly in one gang occasionally.
