Edited by: Mandorr Kzrell on 10/01/2009 22:06:09 This isn't a highly entertaining story of a great heist, and yes this is posted by an alt, and no it wont contain nice chat logs but yes, I think it has to be mentioned and discussed.
ZAF leadership, well the self proclaimed leader who selflessly runs the whole show solo, is the main character of todays bed time story.
This fellow runs a moderate size 0.0 alliance in the Tenerifis area, he's a real tough guy, his job consists of doing what the goons say, and telling the alliance where to go and at what time.
Nothing wrong with that.
However. I, in my humble opinion, think that although ZAF does not charge anything and only require PvP attendance and support for the alliance, taking all moon mined minerals alliance wide, as well as the 15% station tax of the one alliance owned station (that everyone fought to claim) to his personal use, and seeding the minerals and isk to his own corporation not only makes him an obvious jackass, but also a very unfit alliance leader.
Even this would all be fine, if he'd say he's doing it. Instead he claims no such thing is happening, but sources from his own corporation have backed up the suspicions.
Fine, if using the alliance finances to advance his own personal agendas and those of his corp's better forward the strength of the alliance over distributing the resources to every member corp equally, then so be it.
But to lure the alliance out of multibillion debts to other alliances, and as well recollecting hard and self earned assets from departing member corps who will no longer tolerate his incompetence is pure ******ness.
Greed is an awful thing when it's present in a leader.
Why is it that his word is the law of God in his herd. A departing corporation, that was intending to leave later today, left a farewell post 5 times to the alliance mail, due to it being removed after 5 minutes, by the very alliance leader with his alt.
I read it, and saw it come up every 30 min and I can say it had nothing insulting, disagreeing or cross-ways about it. It was a nice farewell for friends of long. Later chat logs were passed containing a discussion between the CEO of the departing corp and the leader of the said alliance. According to him, saying farewell to friends in the alliance mail, is to put in his words
"we agreed u to leave peacefully, lets not spam zaf allaince with stuff that is your view only"
Yes, corp posting a farewell message is a view against him. I don't know what it is he's smoking but I sure as hell don't want any, clearly messes up the brain.
Apparently, due to the fact that they wanted to leave a farewell message, they got kicked ahead of their previously agreed time, which causes grief to those who had not yet had the opportunity to leave their space.
According to all sources, the corporation in question stated their reason for departure privately, and handled the departure in the most polite manner possible.
Why is it always the jackasses that proclaim themselves as the fit leaders? Why is it that the most qualified are too modest to speak out and claim the throne.
If this continues, the previously mentioned corporation won't be the only one. My corporation will hopefully follow, and the self proclaimed fool will be dethrowned.
This was a bed time story of a man and his scamless scam.
And a warning to anyone who might stumble upon this post. Zenith Affinity isn't a good group to come to. Which is a shame as the alliance itself, excluding the leader, is a great and awesome PvP alliance with great potential.
A man who calls DD on his own fleet, isn't a man who should lead an alliance. |

Who is this ZAF? Is he related to the cartoon space captain ZAF Brannigan of whom we hear so much about? |

Didnt read it all but your leader is probably a goon alt using the alliance to fund his wallet with the help of a friend or three.
It's an old and very profitable scam, though much too much work in my own opinion. |

Its the people who make this game, i couldnt care less if being a part of an alliance with these kinds of people would mean i could be a part of something big. Id rather be a part of something fun, enjoying it with people who know how to laugh and relax |

So, alliance leaders are making ISK hands over fist at the expense of their alliance?

I didn't actually read that so I just sort of filled in a different story in place of the OP's. There were gladiators and dinosaurs and various shirtless people. Also some pirates. |

Could it be that most of them were in 0.0?

We've always thought ZAF were awesome because they always help out and keep on coming back despite their small size. And unlike other, and ultimately worthless alliances we've had living in our space (like KOS), they're doing really well. |
