NPSI ftw.
NRDS gives chances for new players to see the sights in 0.0. NBSI is for killwhoring.
In general, i prefer NBSI, seeing i take everyone as hostile untill they leave or i see a wreck. -- Real men corpse tank Void Forums The Chaotic Order Forums |

Anyways, i like both systems. nrds for the thrill of encountering new hostiles all the time, nbsi for the safety.. ----------------------------------------------

I cannot understand NRDS in 0.0, but in low sec I can get having it to prevent players for camping gates there instead of your 0.0 regions (and also losing sec status, making logistics hard for them).
Edit: I mean seriously... NRDS in 0.0? You just sit there until they shoot you, which is not a good idea. A pod and a wreck cannot shoot you.

Edited by: Yorick Downe on 12/01/2009 18:03:15 NxSI is best, where "x" is the first letter of your corporation/alliance. "NASI" in our case. "NRDS" is just ridiculous, you can't possibly manually set every single newly created corp or alliance in the game to "R" every day, sheesh, the administrative nightmare - and "NBSI" tends to spawn too many Bs.

I heard it's fun to stay there.
I am always NBSI. Usually because when I was NRDS I was getting shot at first. Better to do the shooting first to get the upper hand. |

NRDS is for the Anti Pi players. Not carebears but Anti Pi.
It's expensive. First to jam always wins so you lose one ship minimum to a fleet of soon to be reds.
I won't play any other way. It makes the game very hard but that can be a good thing and a bad thing. Good because the game never gets too easy, bad because it can be extremely frustrating. |

I don't know. I've seen some pretty dangerous PODs. Best to make sure if it and shoot the pod to.
Really though, people are NBSI in 0.0 because every NRDS alliance has gotten the floor wiped by a coallition of other alliances which saw them as week and decided to split up their space (CVA being the only remaining exception).
Most epic fail use of NRDS was BRUCEs "we are NBSI in Fountain and NRDS it everywhere else, oh and we have a very short blue list but if you shoot at any of our guys, anywhere, we'll set you red." This got read by most of their neighbors as "you have to set us blue but we are not going to set you blue." Not a good way to make friends and influence people. |
