Temerlyn	Posted - 2004.07.26 14:25:00 - [1] STK scientifc has been in eve since beta days and was founded by me and some rl friends of mine. Like most corps, if not all, we suffer from the ever growing problem of people quiting eve from boredom or suffering from the endless bugs. We have done several corp mergers into STK and only 2-3 people are left from all those corps these days. But in saying that we still have a strong group of players we managed to poach from other online games coughEQcough Thus as a result we have more players in STK now than we ever have had. They are also good players as well. So... STK is a well established corp with some where in the vicinity of 10billion+ assets. we are small in numbers but we prefer quality over quantity We aim to be an all time zone corp. But we lack euro players more than anything else. We have a strong aussie contingent. We are a friendly and helpfull bunch We let players do there own things and once a week ask for help in a corp mining op or some op of some type to help us out. We run ops as much as we can, but generally the ops are for the players, thus if we ran a mining op 7 days of the week, one would be for the corp. We have ore/mineral payment plans to buy mined ores or refined mins. This gives different levels of play for people, some prefer to make life easy and sell to the corp so they dont have to deal with logistics of moving mins or training refining skills etc We own almost every single tech 1 bpo including 6 of the 8 BS bpo's We own a substantial amount of tech 2 BPO's with access to others through the alliance. We are part of the xetic federation alliance We have a daily average corp turn over of 50mil a day With our funds we purchase more bpo's where we can to stay competitive in the tech 2 market We give corp members most basic items for no cost We cover every single aspect of the game, mining, trading, sales, research, production, diplomacy, deep space mining, pvp, NPC farming. We dont have a very strong pvp group, we want one. (most of them quit eve ) So if any of this seems interesting then either... Always something going on around there. Mostly impromptu sessions and every weekend we like to get together as a corp and do one big session which goes to arming people and making sure ships get built. We have an agent runner wing as well. We've kind of got people doing missions for everyone really which is a bit of a bugger but at the moment it's all good. Our empire activities are mainly based about as far from Lonetrek as you can get but you'll find if you join the corp then you'll up sticks, move to our empire base and do everything from there as the rest of the corp all have done. Nothing stopping you from working up there if you want to though, just a bit more difficult to get the supplies you need. I've posted many times how much I enjoy STK. Personally it suits me to the ground. I can get drunk and people don't get offended, I can do my own thing and people support me, I can join in any activity that's going on without people saying 'Sorry, we've got enough people'. It's all just friendly. The only real problem I have is that I'm a capitalist person by nature and the corp is a communist community with everyone contributing things they don't need any more to a central pot for other people to pick up. Took me a while to adjust but now I have I see how well it works in eve land. I give everything I don't need to the corp and keep personal supplies at a minimum :) So everyone, give us a go. I also have great Corporate Police Force faction standing... currently tinkering around with a Raven for combat missions and such, but also very curious about research skills... I'm also curious about where in EVE you're based, I prefer lonetrek region over any others... Well, mining is done in both empire and impass where we're based (Xetic Federation). Always something going on around there. Mostly impromptu sessions and every weekend we like to get together as a corp and do one big session which goes to arming people and making sure ships get built. We have an agent runner wing as well. We've kind of got people doing missions for everyone really which is a bit of a bugger but at the moment it's all good. Our empire activities are mainly based about as far from Lonetrek as you can get but you'll find if you join the corp then you'll up sticks, move to our empire base and do everything from there as the rest of the corp all have done. Nothing stopping you from working up there if you want to though, just a bit more difficult to get the supplies you need. I've posted many times how much I enjoy STK. Personally it suits me to the ground. I can get drunk and people don't get offended, I can do my own thing and people support me, I can join in any activity that's going on without people saying 'Sorry, we've got enough people'. It's all just friendly. The only real problem I have is that I'm a capitalist person by nature and the corp is a communist community with everyone contributing things they don't need any more to a central pot for other people to pick up. Took me a while to adjust but now I have I see how well it works in eve land. I give everything I don't need to the corp and keep personal supplies at a minimum :) So everyone, give us a go.
