Originally by: Baggam I'm using Win XP SP2 RC2 (Which contains Dx9c) it has had no visiable effect on EVE Game play.

I installed that last week - didn't realise it was DX9c

This link tells you how to install over the beta DX9c
That fix doesn't work, by the way, on people who've got SP2 RC2 installed.

Can you even get to 1.25GB?
I thought it could only increase in multiples of 512MB due to mobo's only having a maximum of 3 ram slots?

You can't attempt to judge the stability because the client is laggy, the network isn't performing, and I can't see any improvements (if anything, screen freezes at gates are more prevalent).
