Edited by: Pottsey on 26/07/2004 20:24:31 Anyone tried Directx 9c, howĘs it affected your game? Since it late decided to play safe at see how people get on with it overnight instead of installing it my self as itĘs a pain to uninstall if its like older versions of Directx..

I'm using Win XP SP2 RC2 (Which contains Dx9c) it has had no visiable effect on EVE Game play.

That fix doesn't work, by the way, on people who've got SP2 RC2 installed.

Microsoft XP is as stable as you get. I havent bsoded for over a year, and that was only because i oced my cpu and borked the ram.
How much more stable you want.
Windows > Linux
On topic didnt really notice any differnce at all.
