OK, first off I suspect i'm going down in flames for this (which sadly will only support my theory) but here goes:
I'm an ore thief in Eve and as such not the most popular of characters. I accept that and I expect to get the usual 'come to 0.4 and we'll pod your ass' banter.
BUT,lately i've been getting my share of 'I'd like to find out where you live in RL so i can come round and kick your ass' and people posting on these forums that I'm most likely scum in REAL LIFE.
So what's the consensus of opinion on this? Personally I think that most of the RL threats come from kids and that the vast majority of adults understand that this is a role playing game, with no connection to real life events.
Or am i wrong about that?

I'm refreshingly surprised at all these replies. Seems I've just encountered the occasional idiot and the vast majority are normal folk who can distinguish between the game and RL. Thank you.
Now then, If any of you mining in 0.5 and above would like a hand hauling, we'll get back to the role play, eh?
