Kam Kamarr	Posted - 2009.01.14 17:50:00 - [1] I'm getting fed up with this ruddy macro miners, ive had to move homes 3 times now and CCP will not do anything about it.There answer is always not rated well it should be because it spoils the enjoyment of the game.I have spoken to loads of people in game and there views are the same as mine. I believe if enough of us complain then CCP will have to do something about it. please could u let me no your views. thx for your time KAM

station jockie	Posted - 2009.01.14 17:54:00 - [4] After filing a petition about a macro miner I got a response from a GM asking for further details... minutes after giving the details I was given a further message stating the petition was closed and I would not know the outcome of the investigation, if there will ever be ? Maybe a good idea to clamp down on the macro miners would be to name and shame them with all accounts included, be it isk farmers or people who just cheat and utilise bots.

CCP can take the oportunity to kill two birds with one stone and use their actions here to reduce the amount of spam in local from isk sellers. Obviously I post with an alt, and reducing isk selling completely from the game will reduce my earnings from popping newbie pilots in their faction fitted mish runners, but the game will benefit in the long run once this is irradicated.

Steal there ore (one time I spent 5 hours stealing from 3 hulk, bookmarked there spot and hauled before there hauler. Made quite a fair amount of ISK) 3. Petition them (ok less effective than the 2 preview one, but still...) 4. Insert your own

Second: Not all are "Insert nationality we think miners are". Third: just becuase you see 3-6 char's with almost identical names does not mean they are macro miners. Fourth: Over half the "Macro Miner Herds" people see are really just normal players useing multiple accounts to mine. I mine with 5 accounts. several of them have the same name, just with 1, 2, 3, at the end of their name. That's simply so it's easy for me to keep track of them( I mean christ, I have 5 accounts with 3 char's on each..Simplicity in names helps). I'll hit a belt with my Orca, then gang warp in my 4 hulks, and strip the belt. Sometimes in under 30 minutes depending on the belt. I've had people try to can steal from me(Not an easy trick with an orca actively piloted by a player, I've had people try to bump me out of the belt(that never works), I've had people curse at me, calling me a chinese farmer(I'm a white male english only speaking canadian for christs sake), I've had people convo me yelling at me to go back to china and farm some rice and other raceist **. Anyways. The moral of the story folks, is that those "Farmers" you are yelling and screaming about, a lot of them are the people that produce ships for you(At least one of you in this thread has about a BS off me in the last month). They're people who buy ships form you. They're people who PVP against you and they're possibly even people in your corp/alliance makeing isk to defend that damned titan you keep throwing into the fire when you shouldn't. So remember, they're not all isk farmers.

In the high sec mission system I'm currently in right now there are 9 untouched belts because eveyone is mining thier missions. inappropriate signature. ~WeatherMan

Then you can deal with them yourself.

ALL miners are CHINESE!! that's it, including the 2 exclamation points ALL the characters that share at least 1 letter are CHINESE MACROS ALL the miners have only one account, running 23/7 with the sole objective of RMT that's it.

Noone can figure out who the legit miners are though tbh I doubt anyone who gets riled up about it really cares if the miner is using a macro or not. They just want to kill him on the principle that miner = carebear = omgeveisdyingbecausetheyevademyritouspewpew and should die horribly at every turn just because.
