I have a caldari character that is my main, no it's not an alt to mission in high-sec.... no it's not an alt to falcon around behind me... so what i was wondering, is there even a single person on here who has a caldari main? I was just thinking, instead of working like i should be, maybe the reason caldari aren't getting help in the pvp department is because when you look at the numbers there are so many caldari characters that it appears like they're overplayed as it is. The problem is i have a feeling 90% of those are alts made to mission or fly a falcon behind the main. Everyone has a caldari alt, but no one likes caldari. I know it's insanity that i picked a race based on liking them and the fact that i think missiles are cool. (cool does not necessarily mean effective.) if you managed to make it this far in my fairly pointless post, congratulations. And if you actually have a caldari main who actually flies caldari ships leave a bump so i know there are some out there.

I recently got Caldari Cruiser 5 and bought an Eagle and Rook for gang stuff. For missions I use a Drake, and for high-risk gang ops where I expect to die I use a Blackbird or Caracal. I've also got a nice Ferox fitting in the hangar. I know the practical limits of these Caldari ships (although I'm still sort of learning the Eagle and Rook) but I don't feel disadvantaged with them.

Learn how to work around the latter, while getting better at the former. It's not so much what your character is, but what you do with it that matters most out here. Finally, there is nothing wrong with letting others make assumptions about you based on your character and its age/race. In this game, knowledge is power moreso than others. Use their ignorance to your advantage. Don't ever think that your initial character choice in some way limits your choice of careers, ships, fits, or overall fun in this game. Enough SPs and you can fly what you want effectively, and/or compete in any endeavor in EvE. *** Had a T1 sig - it got all blowed up. Got another T1 sig - it got all blowed up too. Can't afford another T1 sig...yet. Still training for T2 sigs, f...ing newb that I am.
