Looking for a ship with a decent lock time on frigs that doesn't require me to sacrifice my mids for a full load on sensor boosters, and actually has the dps to take on a cruiser, was currently eyeing the hurricane hoping that one sensor booster might do the trick but somebody else has a better suggestion I am definitely open to other ships.

If you are talking about catching frigs that don't wanna be caught your only chance is to use an interceptor. The additional demand to be able to kill cruisers limits the choice pretty much to the Taranis imho.
A cane with one sensor booster will not even catch a cruiser - it might get a plated one with 3 of them...

If you want to kill frigs, Thrasher. Even go for t2 and get Sabre, they kill my blasteranis  |

How do you fit the mids to catch the frigs on a thrasher, or what scan res do I need to have to stand a chance?
