Oh now how very ironic. PIE leaping to the defence of their buddies in SA for actions very similar to those Oracle defended CA over, whilst Oracle was in CA.
Difference was, Oracle was defending piracy, wasn't it?
You told me once, Hardin, that it's very hard to maintain one's convictions and honour once you become involved with an outer regional alliance. How right you were.

Hardin, don't for a moment think I disapprove... PIE's free to ally with pirates if it wishes. It just amuses me that PIE's noble, honourable fažade is a somewhat thin veneer after all when presented with the riches of 0.0 space. You're seeing things from a side of the fence we were on a number of months ago. Defend your buddies no matter what, because that's your source of high ends and named modules. Attack your buddy's enemies on the forums... It's all very familiar.
It's a downward spiral away from all of your ideals. Break away now, while you still can, lest you become yet another soulless "l33tboy" ganker corp.

What I will say is that PIE as part of its duties to protect Amarrian space from terrorists AND pirates will continue to mount patrols into the area.
Gemodi, Mamet and Misaba are all Amarrian Empire systems and all pilots should be able to traverse them unhindered by pirates of whatever colour.
So you'll be engaging MASS if they set up another blockade down there, and start indiscriminately ganking?
Do you want a hand?

I'm not accusing PIE of allying with pirates, Rodj. Far from it. I know you guys have a staunch anti-pirate stance in empire space. What I'm delivering is perhaps a warning - Be careful not to get too drawn in. Oracle fell foul of that trap, and lost many fine members to soulless 0.0 corps before realising it's mistake.
Don't follow in our footsteps. If CA firing on neutrals in CA space on the reasoning that they could be enemy alts can be seen as piracy, then SA's firing on neutrals for the same reason can also be seen the same way. The fact that PIE has declared a corp pirates;

PIE have declared this Soul Cartel a pirate organisation, and we've plenty of incidents to fall back on to validate our declaration.
...does not excuse or change anything if the corp is doing what they claim, and defending their home system.
Don't be blinded by SA spin.

And here we see exactly what can happen to an otherwise perfectly normal person if they spend too long dealing with outer region alliances.
Heed this sober warning, Hardin... Get out, before the l33t gets you, too.

The same could be said of my own views on PIE, Golan. Come to mention it, I'm not alone in thinking this. I don't know what's happened recently, I really don't.
