So far my theory is that it is for claiming items that CCP has decided to reimburse to you (petition). This way you could choose the station where you want them to land.

The Redeeming system is the next incarnation of the delivery system used for PLEX. We will announce it with details when it's released.

If you are referring to the comment above on "how you redeem PLEX (30 day gametime codes) bought off the ingame market?", then you will still apply the PLEX to your account by right clicking and activating it. This new system will not change that mechanic.
The Redeeming System will be a new way to bring PLEXes into the game in addition the the current method of turning ETCs into PLEXes.
Sciencegeek deathdealer, yes, you are right, but please stop calling people names |

And here I was hoping it would be a way to bring them "out of the game", so you could reactivate an account with it (under the assumption that you have at least 1 other active account).
Oh well, let's what it will do.

Can do boss. so it is used for plexes not items? Because the name "redeem items" is slightly confuseing. Just saying though.... |

The new button is the "I Win" button made real. Just fly to any station, press the new button, and you win EVE, instantly. You get a little mail saying "Congratulations, you've won EVE. Well done!" and a new certificate titled "EVE Winna". The new certificate has only one prerequisite, which is: "Ability to click 'I Win' button." I guess most people will immediately publish this certificate; I mean, who doesn't want to win EVE and let everyone know how good they are at pressing a button? The cool thing is you can press it multiple times and this has the effect of making you more of a winner, at EVE. |
